Both drinks follow the same Long Island iced tea recipe formula: equal parts gin, vodka, rum and tequila... however the triple sec (or Cointreau) is substituted for something else
The Adios Mother FU drink uses Blue Curaçao while the Tokyo Iced Tea used Midori (Green Melon Liqueur).
In addition to the booze, both use lemon juice and simple syrup (just like a Long Island Iced tea drink) but instead of topping with Coke, we are topping these drinks with Sprite... mainly to preserve the neon color!

Yeah, your garnish needs to match the drink; if it's dyed neon hues, use the neon red cherries. If it's more subdued, like an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan (Rob Roy, Districto Federale, etc.), use the Luxardo. And of course, you can't go wrong with a wedge or twist of whatever citrus you added the juice of.

These “Long Island” style drinks are known for their mix of ingredients… you could use lists Tequila but it won’t be the same drink, just a variety of tequila highball
