One of our favorite ways to catch crappie. We use 1/16 ounce and troll around a mile an hr. Occasionally we’ll slow it to .75 but definitely a relaxing way to fish. Can catch up white bass in the spring and early summer too
@JSOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I believe I said those are 8th ounce but they were actually 16th that’s what I saw y’all use it in a couple of your videos I believe but yeah it’s a lot of fun and I’ll probably be doing some more of it this fall
@alanjames8549 Жыл бұрын
stick one of those little crappie nibblets on the hook of your jig helps a lot

My dad trolls for those fall crappie down in Florida on lake monroe and a few others they crush em

What's the crappie limit in OK?
@JSOutdoors Жыл бұрын
37
@backwoodsty Жыл бұрын
@@JSOutdoors oddly specific limit but envious of it! We can only keep 10/D in MN...... Don't catch into them often or target them but I always enjoy when I do catch one.
@JSOutdoors Жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing the limit used to be 30 but I double checked before I answered your question and it appears it’s 37 now
