Long Lining Spider Trolling for Pre-Spawn Crappie

This is a quick video on how to catch big Crappie during the prespawn. The method I use is trolling...it is far better than bobbers or slips and minnows. 1/16 oz. jigs at 1.0MPH is the ticket. Jigs at that speed will troll at about 8ft. deep.
I have created this page to share information with the hopes of helping you become a better fisherman and catch more fish. I do this with the heart of a teacher in mind while trying to make it simple and fun for anyone!

A school of white bass will screw you over when they hit ever hook at the same time.I prefer the tight line trolling method provided the water is not to clear and the crappie are not to shallow.The tight line method keeps every pole within arms reach,but if you have helpers the long line method works as well.
