Action figures were the bane of my mother's wallet's existence in the late 70's. I had Star Wars figures, The Black Hole figures, Battlestar Galactica figures, and even a few Buck Rogers figures.

They look fantastic, I would have definitely have loved to get something like these back in the day. The Alien series are some of my favourite movies ever. I even have some sets of Alien die cast miniatures and a few of the models.

Those are actually pretty cool toys. It was awesome that the company remade the prototype action figures. Even though they aren't the actually prototypes, it's still awesome to see these figures resurface as actually toys. :)

Those will be super collectible in the future! If I had the display space I would pick these up! I remember seeing pictures of the original prototypes in an original alien guide from the late 70s when I was a kid, thinking I want these! Really cool they've been released!

In the 80's i had an Alien (1) action figure- about a foot tall and very detailed. The teeth did shoot out and the reflective top of the head could be removed to reveal its skull underneath, possibly based on original designs.. its tail was pretty crazy too

Back in 1979 Kenner did release a large 18" action figure of the ALIEN creature, but it was frowned on by parents and kids were scared of it, so sales were poor. That's why the 5 figures were cancelled back in 1979.
