Love it! I've got this one marked on my Long Canyon Route. I think you may have stopped here as well when you did Long Canyon? Maybe? Looks like September is the right time to do it! Beautiful!

Thanks! Beautiful time of year for sure. I did stop there when I did the Long Canyon Loop. It's become my favorite lake in Selkirks. You should do the loop one of these years. Would be a great week long hike. I'm sure you have a route planned. Next time I do it I would include Pyamid-Ball Lakes and Trout-Big Fisher Lakes. Also spend at least 2 nights down in the canyon where the huge old growth cedars are. You could easily make it a 7+ day backpacking trip. Hike On!

Beautiful area, I've hiked into Pyramid and Ball Lakes but have never stayed to the right and up and over Pyramid Pass. Beautiful Lake------- just wondering about the green color of the lake. Was it your camera filter or algae bloom in the lake? Dose not look right. Anyhow another nice hike in an neat area..... Thanks

That was the color of the lake. Dont know why. I hiked there in August of 2017 and it was the same color.

Just found this lake in my trails of the wild selkirks book. Its on my list for this summer.
