The older I get the more fun the slabs are to catch. It's weird watching Bill's videos on KZbin I used to be cross legged on the floor Saturday mornings.

Never get tired of catching or seeing them big slab black crappie ! that long pole would be very effective not only for crappies...it would be great for presentations for many species, including bass and walleye !

Call me old school but I love cane pole fishing for crappie or as us southern folk say specks I prefer a 10 to 16 foot cane pole with 12 to 16 feet of line.
@stephenhenning63812 жыл бұрын
I always see you sitting up front in the boat with a hand steer trolling motor. What type of trolling motor do you use for this kind of fishing? By the way, your show about wade fishing to jig for crappie on Arkabutla Lake many years ago is a classic to me!

hi Bill,i just love your vids and info.have been a fan since in my youth ,was wondering do you smash the barb on your jigs?it seems you have little resistance to unhooking? and if so do you think the loss or unhooked fish would be many ? thanks Bill.
@billdance2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes but not often. If you keep a tight line, you won't lose many!
