I do not hunt myself and I've never owned a gun of any sort, but I love that you are all about humane hunting and using every animal you kill with birds perhaps being an exception. I am grateful for hunters like you who respect the animals and do everything they can to enjoy the hunt, make clean kills, and use the animals they kill for food when possible. Keep up the amazing work. You're the best! By the way I subscribed to your channel.

Excellent shooting Matt. Your lucky you have the open sunny areas for that great scope cam footage. It's so damn dark in the forest where I hunt that most of the time my camera has a hard time getting quality shots at 240fps. I have to pick and choose my shots wisely according to the sun. Do you ever have that issue?......Great video Bud!
@AirArmsHuntingSA9 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! I do have that problem, and I just set the cam to 120fps. It's not ideal but it's better than nothing I suppose

First off I'd like to say I enjoy these videos, and I believe that you make every effort to provide a clean ethical kill shot each and every time you pull the trigger, so good on you for that!!!.... But I'd like to respond to the handful of people who click on these videos and other videos like them for the soul purpose of crapping all over them...... If you don't like the videos don't watch them!! you are told in advance what the content of the video is, so if you already know that you will be offended by it why do you seek it out??? There is a ton of stuff in the world that I don't care for, but I don't go looking for it and I sure don't crap all over some one else for having an opinion that is different than mine!!! ....If you don't like it don't watch it!!!

Please SOMEONE explain why he moves the scope Tourette as opposed to just holdover???????? It takes more time, greater room for mistake, and greater possibility for scope damage????'WHY????
@AirArmsHuntingSA9 жыл бұрын
Well that's an easy question to answer... 1) Dialling the turret on a second focal plane scope allows you to shoot at any magnification and still keep the same aim point. 2) "Takes more time" is false. You dial and you shoot. It takes seconds. When you hold over, you are counting mils, estimating divisions, and all while trying to keep your focus on the target. 3) "Greater room for mistake" is false. Turrets allow you to get more precise. The space between 1 mil is 3.6 inches @ 100 yards, but the space between 1 click is 1/4 inches at the same distance. 4) "Greater possibility for scope damage" is rubbish. Do you see snipers holding over during military operations? No, they dial the heck out of those turrets. It's not like the turrets are just there for show. Rule #1 for any serious long range shooter is to dial instead of holding over (wind is a different story).
@Jason-Smith19 жыл бұрын
+AirArmsHuntingSA could you please elaborate on #3?
