I made this review video with the best of my knowledge. This is my first review video and I'm sure I missed a lot of information. I hope that by watching this video you treasure hunters will have an idea on how locators work and an understanding. . Hope you guys like my videos! H.H!!

I'm glad i stumbled onto this video! My first experience with a LRL began in the late 1980s with a purchase of a Thomas Electroscope Model 20. A local dealer sold them and gave me a demonstration prior to purchase. These earlier production series had 3 antennae and pistol grip centrally located for good balance. The balancing and sweeping of these instruments is vital in order for optimum performance. The vhs video tapes made by Larry McCaig and Mac Herman were very helpful with tips and procedures they used out in the field. I have located silver coins with my Model 20 and it's never let me down. I do this videos for you guys, there is crap long-range detectors but i use what has proven to work for me.. long-range detectors are not operating on established science. You remind me of all the Long Range Skeptical know it alls on the forums that love to run their mouths and offer loads of skepticism and cynicism against the Long Range equipment but never really do any field testing of their own on any of these instruments to really show us some evidence that none of them actually do anything. All you types of people do is drain energy and waste time with negative skepticism and endless arguments. instead of criticizing Tempe raider here you should be thanking him for making the effort to show for the benefit of those who are interested in these types of instruments which ones have good results and which ones dont. You really should stick with your Minelab and continue to spend hours and hours in the hot sun digging endless iron rusted nails and bullets and shell casings and hoping that just one more swing of that coil will be over a small gold nugget that might just help you pay a little for all the gas it cost you to drive out to that barren desert.

If this is such a scam, why are these companies like electroscope and Tfr- rods still in business. Where are all the law suites for such outrages claims. Electroscopes have been around since the 80's I think. They have sold many if thousands of units. Common sense will tell you that they should be out of business by now but they're not. Think out how much money they must have made by now off people. Why don't you buy one of these units, and expose the scam, then sue them. Do a video too like Temple Raider to show the rods don't work. Common sense unfortunately is not that common........

Very well said King David,thank you for applying a little common sense to all of this. All you need to do is go look at some of the customer finds on the Electroscopes website to see that these types of instruments are really finding things. And those pics on there are just a fraction of the huge collection of finds customers have given pics of for so many years. The Electroscopes go back all the way to the 1980's and you can even check out the history section on the website to verify this fact. There are even pics of the inventor with the Navy demonstrating some of his earlier prototype equipment. Now you have to ask yourself this: If these instruments are all a scam, then why would the US Navy be spending any time hanging out with Thomas Afilani (Electroscope inventor) and allowing him to demonstrate his equipment? Hmmmmmm.....................

Yeah lots of thumbs down because of ignorant people like you with closed minds and not to mention "jealous competitors". No big surprise here. Once again you are throwing common sense out the window with your sarcasm. You havent seen any of these in any of your local metal detecting stores because most metal detector dealers dont believe in these types of instruments and they also are afraid to admit they might actually work so they dont want to risk their reputation by getting involved with them. The other reason is that my company the Treasure Finding Rods is a small outfit with only 5 employees. We custom make all of these instruments by hand to order to ensure precision parts and function. I do not have any dealers or distributors at this time. You need to start thinking things through a little better before shooting off your mouth.

I bought TFR 4 from joh and used it for a long time, it sees iron targets, I did not see success in gold and silver. So I sold TFR4.

May I suggest that you conduct your sample tests by burying the metals in the ground for 48 hours and then see if you get a better response.

Star Man. Hello. Thanks for watching.. on episode 2 i tried all locators on buried silver coins. Coins have been buried for 5 years..Thats why i did that test because when gold or silver are buried for a long time the long-range equipment have a stronger pull.. Thanks!

The manual itself is hard to understand because it's a foreign language trying to type in English but from what I got out of it, is that you're supposed to turn the machine on the hip on 1st then the detector then choose what you want. After that hold detector on the opposite side of the box that goes on your pocket a name the detector down towards the ground sway left from right to get a good reading then after it stops by coming to complete stop, lift until you have a 90-degree angle with your arm. Then move your hand a little bit to get it going because I don't think this one is like the other ones were it was by itself it's almost like the littlest when you have there. I'm still getting the hang of it myself but from what I have experience personally it's not going to have a lot of power when it's moving and you kind of have to watch where it goes and you'll notice the small jerking when it detects something. My only issue is knowing when I have found something because like you said in your video it is hard to even know if something's there but it does for sure detect you just have to back up a little and I don't think it's like those other ones where you calibrate it I don't think it matters for that one if you have any more tips let me know cuz like I said I'm still getting the hang of it

Oh and keep perfectly still do not move your body or your hand in motion like a regular long metal detector. After you noticed it detect something Hornet down and walk about 10 steps and do it again. Repeat that process but no moving. I'm trying to slow walking thing but I don't see it working like that.

Troy Stutsman. You are being sarcastic & speaking out of ignorance. You don't have to be stupid to be ignorant.. These instruments are not magic wands that will put treasure in the ground for u.. They are simply tools that can help you speed up recovery time.. You still have to do the work & cover a lot of ground and research good leads. But if you learn to use this type of equipment correctly you will save yourself a lot of time in the field. So heres my question for you: How much treasure have you found with your standard metal detectors and how much trash have you found and deep holes have u dug getting out all the trash? In fact, I had a Great Uncle who was a Water Witcher and always found water...! My statements were based upon what I observed in your video...! I agree that you can’t find anything if there is nothing around to be found but according to you, these devices are capable of detecting objects up to 2000m away... I can’t believe that there wasn’t one single coin, ect. Within 2000m from where you were standing and operating these Devices. But your statement about not being capable of detecting objects that are not there has nothing to do with what I Stated because there were several objects sitting on your table which was just a couple of feet in front of you and Not one of these devices made any type of indication of detecting any of them...! You can clearly see the frustration in your body language because they are not registering anything. In fact, you state while using and after that each one of these devices failed to work...! So, according to what I’ve seen and heard you say, either these devices failed to work because they don’t or because you, the operator doesn’t know what they are doing or how to operate these devices...! So, which is it...? Is it the fault of these devices that they don’t work...? Or Is it your fault they didn’t work because you don’t know how to operate them correctly...? Again, I believe that Witching works as I’ve seen it first hand...! Troy Stutsman. I was not implying that u were stupid, u were not paying attention. I was saying that even intelligent people can say ignorant things. If u read between the lines thats what the saying "you don't have to be stupid to be ignorant really means " and the fact is that u were acting like a smart ass and making ignorant comments with your sarcasm. You were also not paying very close attention to the testing of all 4 long-range instruments because the electroscope and tfr-4 clearly locked on the gold and silver targets that were on the table & 10 ft away buried under the tree. You did not see the reaction of the antenna on the electroscope & tfr-4 to the gold & silver coins on the table when the antenna locked & stopped in the direction of this items. Go back and watch the video again closely & pay attention. And watch the conclusion in part 2 where i give good reviews on the electroscope & the tfr-4 at the end of the video. This has nothing to do with water witching as these are electronic based instruments that are working with output frequencies that are in the same range as radio frequencies. Your bodies effect on them simply has to do with how well u are grounding the instrument. The terra gold & aks did not give favorable results in this review video for me & that was the whole point of making the demonstration to see which ones worked & which ones did not give favorable results in my testing. It could be that my bodies bio-energy field affected the way in which these instruments were working or it could be something else going on with the two instruments that i demonstrated on that day that showed no results. Once again this is not a, written in stone" final verdict review, it is only my testing & the results of how these instruments worked for me personally. Stop taking everything that i said in the video so literally....

Hello. This is wrong way to use the Terra Gold LR 200. You don't follow the instructions on manual. We never hold the device with the two hands, but only with one hand. We never turn our body together with the LR 200, but we sit still and wait for LR to turn around. You never hold the LR with angle to front and bottom, but we hold it parallel with the ground. You must check the handle if it rotates fast, otherwise you must spray with cleaning contacts spray. You need to complete the training who described on the Terra Gold manual in order to increase your conductivity. The coins must be on the ground. As longer as coins stay on the ground, it's better. You should not have a mobile phone on your body. if you follow all this, the LR 200 will work perfectly.

Dear, Why can not the detector be held with both hands? If it works electronically and needs "the human body" to function, 2 hands are better than one!... or not? Why should coins go on the floor and not on a table? If your detector detects the molecular resonance frequency, it does not need the floor to work, since the resonance frequency is characteristic of the material and not of the ground ... The handle should not be blocked by hand movements or by gravity. If the operator uses search tetechniques that are used by other detectors, he will not be able to detect any target. The detector uses the molecular resonance frequency, but it uses more procedures and other things to detect the targets. For best test results, the target has to be in contact with the ground.

Those didn't do crap. Complete hoax. shocker. Targets are literrally RIGHT IN FRONT of the machine and it can't detect them? It should be going NUTS. Any of my metal detectors would pick them up at that range! Basically anything with a swivel handle is a complete scam.

Tom Stock I dont know if u looked at the part where the tfr rod and electroscope are hitting the targets buried by the tree.. All samples on the table are a little harder to hit because the longer a metal is buried the stronger the detection.. Can ur detector hit a target from 10 feet away? Lol...
