Long Schooner Lake - Fall 2022

7lb bass and 10+lb pickerel have been pulled out of these lakes, monster pike as well. Trolling up and down the right side (looking out from the mainland) of long schooner can produce pickerel. The far backside of round is a good bass spot, lots of structure below the water there for the fish. The back right side of long where the creek breaks off is good for pike and bass, shallower and weedy. Dark colored lures is what I find produce the best on these two lakes. I'm quite familiar with these lakes, been camping up there for the past 20 years. Admittedly, the fishing has declined a little bit over the years due to what I believe is the lakes getting fished harder, but there is still good fish in there to be found!

i wonder why, with people that put the time in to fish and scout it freely plastering their finds on the internet for complete strangers to use. Must be a Liberal voting type. :(

Yep. Basically the first site as you pull up to the island. The boys and I are heading back on the third weekend of October this year but we rented the sites that are drive-in.
