You do such a great job Rory. As I said, it is very difficult to watch this documentary…but somehow it seems like I’m watching it with an old friend who is enjoying the Hip as much as I have since I was a teenager. Thanks man.

Very well said, I was going to say the same exact thing, watching alone is not as enjoyable than watching it with Rory and friends! I really enjoy the company. 😊💓🤘✌️

My Niece has a great memory of the Hip, she lives in northern BC, the Hip played a lot of small towns. Before the concert, the band was just hanging out and played street hockey with her friend group, just a bunch of kids🇨🇦❤️

I drove 5 hours one way to take in the concert in Winnipeg MB. during the final tour. I haven't been to a concert since. It was an amazing night spent with amazing friends and amazing music. Gord's wave goodbye to the crowd at the end of the night said it all.

I have watched this documentary a dozen+ times having loved the band my entire life. There were truly the playlist to my life and I had the honour of seeing them live over 50 times, including twice on the final tour. I was front row in Hamilton and also with a group of friends at the final show in Kingston and I will tell you that they were emotional events. You are doing an amazing job as you watch the documentary and your emotions both listening to their music and watching their shows is what we felt every time we watched them. As you continue through the documentary you will see how much they meant to all of Canada. Thanks for doing this.

@@davidedwards3838 I've heard of Tragically Hip I just never took the time to listen to them. I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan since the beginning 91', but through the years I heard Eddie Vedder mentioned them and I know that Pearl Jam is big in Canada also. Now that I know who Tragically Hip is and because of Rory Reacts and his awesome fan base I have watched many concerts on KZbin. I am very grateful to finally experience them. New fan here for sure! RIP Gord Downie 😇💝🌹

You're doing a great job reacting. I am from Buffalo, NY and this is my favorite band. Got to see them in Toronto for this last tour.

Like I commented in your Part 2. Tears...every time. The Hip are the soundtrack of my life and Gord Downie will live forever in the hearts of everyone who saw him or heard him perform.

The year he passed my husband spent a good chunk of time spray painting pants and a thrifted leather jacket silver in the garage for Halloween. Jaws shirt hat and boots and all.

Greatest live band of all time. Straight up. Sorry you never got to see them live man but keep reacting to everything they've ever done live and not live... and I promise you won't get disappointed, probably not even once. Pure fire.

so sorry we lost him shorty after this tour

Calling our PM a tyrant during an homage to our band was disgusting. But coming from a Brit who should understand that isn't possible in a MINORITY govt!!!! Stick to music, kid.

The band was tragically underrated. Didn't get much airplay in the states but anyone who saw them live became a fan for life.
