Long Wait Time Tries To Ruin Our Entire Shift? | Doordash, Uber Eats, Grubhub Shipt Ride-Along

In this Multi-App Food Delivery Ride-Along we had one order that almost ruined our entire shift? Was it on Doordash, Uber Eats or Grubhub and would it make our gig work shift a failure? Also would we receive a tip on a Shipt order we did?

I work overnights so my entire existence is in darkness lol. The Wendy's out here is always super quick, I know if I'm really hungry they are the goto for speed. That lady at Taco Bell... no words. Thanks for showing the Christmas lights! If your apartment complex is that complicated, please leave detailed instructions people! I always feel bad when you have to hunt, especially in the cold. I generally wait, or I actually ask if it is going to be longer than my travel time to and from the other location if that makes sense. Obviously I want to cut down on back tracking miles but if it's just up the street then it won't make that much difference in the grand scheme. I also ended up getting a thermoelectric cooler that you can run backwards so instead of taking heat out of box it puts it in. It gets up to just about 150F inside so once I pick up on order it's staying warm. I got to test its ability when I had an order that someone messed up and ordered to their work that was closed... So I picked up the order, drove to location, contacted the person to figure out if it was still deliverable, drove home, and enjoyed a still hot meal. Though expensive, that device basically took all of the stress of traffic and stacks out of the job because I always know people are getting edible food.

Please remember when doing Shipt orders. They customers don’t receive any notification on what you substitute. It’s not like instacart. There’s a message above the “choose a substitute” telling the customers the item is not in stock. Because customers don’t want certain items that you pick plus they will Rate you and will be deactivated when you reach a low score. Always reach out to the customer and not to rush the order. Great video always.

Only once I had to unassign one of my stacks. It was an Indian restaurant and long wait times across the board. I look at what my first order is and the status of the kitchen too..is my first order ice cream..but also dont want to hurt ny pocketbook..

That karen was awful..one time there was one at subway she was being so rude the employee said can i get you anything else, i said an attitude adjustment would be nice 😅

I did my first Uber eats. $14.64 and I said sure for 9 miles. I do the delivery it popsup $4.64. So I learned the bait and switch . No more Uber for me.

You sure the tip didn’t come in later? It gives you the base pay first and then the tip shows up a couple of hours later. If not that’s pretty bad luck for it to happen on your first order.

It was an absolutely atrocious idea of that complex to decide to use the alphabet for their apartments. :) I hate delivering to co-ops and places like that so, SO much! Lol... Easily my least favorite places to deliver. I'd rather deliver to the 50th floor of an apartment or office.
