After a great sunset ride on some cruisers we set off to skateboard some curving downhill runs in the Redwood Forest. Then we get in touch with nature and skate with some of the largest trees on earth.

Aye! But is the wood for your boards responsibly sourced? It's one thing to plant a tree for a board (more detail on how that works would be welcome) but you want the wood you're using to come from well managed forests, and be responsibly sourced. Responsible sourcing certification would be very welcome, such as FSC. You should certainly be able to do that for your made in Canada boards. I do worry about the made in China and other boards. Would be interested to know why you no longer seem to use bamboo as well. Some of your older boards used bamboo. That's another option, as it's a rapidly growing grass, although it does come from China. Anyhoo, keep at it guys!

@@aidanco5265 it still does really well and fun but if it's all actual flats then you will be pushing from a somewhat higher standpoint for your pushing foot and requires more energy and leg muscle to push far on this board compared to a lower lighter design like a rally cat or battle axe, other boards meant for a lower feel for the pushing foot. It allows me to push farther without bending my front leg and getting fatigue from the higher push height. That's just flats. This board rips anything you out at it and is my favorite DH board and can cruise nice on it but it's bigger than you think for your everyday use so it's still good to have another medium sized cruiser that's smaller wheels and more fun in the flats. Like a sidewalker, rally cat, larger atv series and other mid sized length boards. They're not too short at around 34 ish. They're perfect.

I started skating around a year ago cause I got a drop cat at my local skate shop and I can genuinely say that skating has changed my life I met my best friend cause of it, countless hours of fun and new tricks and progression I just learned switch pop shuvit which is cool all i can say is, thanks Landyachtz.

I am 32 years old and skateboarding has been a consistently rewarding experience for me for the last 20 years. While I am much more likely to shred my neighborhood hills freeriding a longboard than I am to skate the local park on a popsicle stick, I still do both quite a bit.

I grew up there… I miss it, the forest calls to me. This video brought back some good memories. Thank you! I have a brain injury from a motorcycle crash and it’s hard remember my past. Unless something triggers a memory. If y’all want to stay I recommend getting an AirBnB or something in the Redwood Estates. They’re usually 2 story cottages and you’re surrounded by sequoias with beautiful little gardens around the houses. It’s a great way to cleanse the soul. The ancient reds are magical.

The guy who replied knows almost nothing. Yes they're good but tracers are almost impossible to get now and wear super quick. Try 80a zombie hawgs , or easy hawgs. Plow kings are great if you want grip to carve and corner but also have a predictable and easy going lovely slide that's easy to control. Hope this helps!

Lemonchino longboarding tracers are the best wheels for sliding... u can just kick them out like butter for standup slides. i have the zombies too and they are definitely inferior. Tracers get pricey though
