I was doing a test on 3/4 pine today (couldn't find this video for settings) and my laser dropped and needless to say, I had fire. I think everything is ok am in the process of cleaning it. My question to you is do you have any recommendations or a fix for that set screw...it's hard to tighten.

I have never had an issue with mine, but do agree it is not the most convenient to work with. It is in an odd spot.

For the most part, yes. Replacement lens are available on the Longer website, but it will depend on which head.

A lot of you-tube guys say they don't like the air-assit on the B1 Longer Ray did you have the same opinion?

Other than it could use a higher cfm air pump, I have no complaints.

I think it's because they're doing more detailed work? I just ordered mine and will be looking into upgrading the air line

Roger have you had the chance to try the longer ray 10 watt on acrylic.?

I seldom do anything with acrylic. Although I did do some acrylic key tags on the Ray 5, but was using the 20 watt head.

Longer support has been near impossible to get after having issues out of box mine won’t even cut half inch ply without Multiple passes and serious overburn
