Woohoo! Mine will be here tomorrow and I was worried about the single Z, especially for the lower layers. I will use it stock for a little bit then put the dual Z, BL-Touch, and PEI flex sheet on there

This thing works great. Pleasantly surprised with the bed too. One of the best glass beds. Easy to upgrade too.

Thanks for the review, looks like a good printer, cool that they have an assisted leveling feature, bed levelling is the bane of every newb!!

I agree. It's that super steep learning curve that seems like absolutely nothing once you conquer it. This makes it a hair easier.

I wish manufacturers would ditch the bulldog clips they supply to hold the glass to the plate, if there are any high spots on the plate the tension in the clips deforms the glass if they are poitioned on each corner, I have just bought some of the screw type clips and place them on the centres and what a difference it makes, my glass beds are much flatter now and I have great fun making adjustments and then reprobing to try and get the best numbers
@3DPrintSOS2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Tronxy uses these clips. I’ve always liked them.

I have a review on this machine in the works. It's all done, just need to edit it. IMO this is the printer voxelab should have made to leverage their success with the Aquila.

100%. I actually had a take of the conclusion that said that, but I guess I cut that out at the end. I agree with you 100%. This is what everyone was asking for. But instead they made a X2, C2, S2....
@NathanBuildsRobots2 жыл бұрын
I probably won't say it in my video either, but i totally wish Voxelab made this printer a year ago. Even without the touchscreen it would have sold like hot cakes. I understand not adding it to this video though. It's awkward to fit another printer in a conclusion, unless it's one of the top printers.

@3DPrintSOS "Not sure to be honest" about what? I personally checked the product page. And I wasn't asking for the price of the optional sensor. I was just stating what I found.

Oh. I thought you were implying that I should state a price. Haha. Thanks for the info though. :)

@3DPrintSOS Nope. You read too much into my factual state. There was nothing implied or suggested. If I were to suggest you do something, I would make it very clear that it was a suggestion, so there would be zero confusion. I hate confusion. The non-insulated print bed heats up the bearings in the roller wheels and causes the oil to run onto the wheels and make a gummy mess. The print bed needs an insulation blanket.
@3DPrintSOS2 жыл бұрын
That’s a pretty extreme case of heat. I’ve never had this happen on any machines. How hot is your bed getting?

Silly, non technical question, dud you find it irritating that the screen is on the left? I think these companies should make them so they can swap sides, sounds not picky I know but the screen on the left would bug me
@3DPrintSOS2 жыл бұрын
Haha. Honestly, no I didnt think about it. I’m guessing it’s so they can use a shorter cable instead of stretching all the way out. Or maybe the owner/designer is left handed. 😂

@@3DPrintSOS it struck me as odd that it was on the left but that might just be because I'm used to it being on the right. Looks like a nice screen tho, seemed responsive as well

Yeah, not bad at all. My concern with it is that it may not be fully or easily supported by non custom longer firmware. Which would be ok if they added a few more features to the firmware.
