Longer Trains = More Money! | Transport Fever 2 | Bretagne | Episode 8

Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
In the last episode the stone production was off to a slow start, however in today's video business is booming and our little 10 wagon train isn't cutting the mustard. We're going to be using our new found profits to make this train longer, which in turn should earn even more money!
We're also going to be using the money to lengthen our existing passenger trains, as well as make some quality of life improvements around the city of Nantes for our road vehicles. It's another action packed episode!

For the station you used there should be the kings cross asset section in the configure tab, it has the right foot bridge

Hey Joe, I play this map myself and I can tell you a great money maker is above challans are two crude oil extraction, if you use the freight trains to take the crude oil to the cargo hub at Nantes it earns millions, not to mention that it can be taken elsewhere to be turned to fuel as well. Great video as always looking forward to next weeks 😃

Great video! I would recommend the ''Build with Collisions'' mod. It helps when you can't upgrade a road but you want to upgrade a road and you blame it on a lamppost, and you try to delete that lamppost but it doesn't work so you just end up upgrading it to a smaller road

Great video Joe! The reason why a lot of people are using Nort-sur-Erdre instead of Nantes is because you don't have good bus/tram links to the station in Nantes, where as you have a lot of them in Nort-sur-Erder. Consider improving the bus/tram networks in your big cities

3:00 it would make sense to flip that road around so traffic isn't crossing over itself

You need to build some ring roads and bypasses to take the traffic away from the centres. If your buses and trucks can move faster you will make more.

I would add a shuttle between major stations on the railway and if it doesn’t work then do a express between major city’s

The reson why there are so little passengers in Nantes to go up to the next stations up to rennes is that nearly every train is at least half empty in Nantes and there is always space for passengers to board. In Nort-sur-Erdre, the train is nearly full. So echt time a train comes in there are only 5 to 15 people able to board, yet the busses and trams bring in something like 50 or 60 passengers inbetween 2 trains. Double sets are indeed needed. Also, it migt be benificial for the goodstrucks to only have one drop of point. Ofcorse, if you can get them to ship stuff in either direction, thats great, but its not worth it to have trucks run half empty for a quoter of the trip and then to go completly empty for half of the trip.

Don't use buses on the same line as trains they will be cheaper for passengers, and they won't use the train.
