Longest bike at Born free 2021?? Born free prep Part 1.

Spent the day over at Jeffs house (Sweatshop industries) getting his long bike ready for Born free. Measures in at right under 12ft long. Will be pretty awesome watching this thing bounce down the road. 7 days left to get all the bikes ready.

Cool and I like it, but the leverage on the headstock must be huge ? Not sure I'd feel safe ? I can't watch anymore after the episode getting the chop off the ramp...!

I thort my 26in overs wer long it had to b chopped back down cause I live in the uk i broke my frame few times crap roads fullof potholes and craters blew the seals on my air ride few times to. cant beleive the flex bounce on yor forks id love it if i was ther in the states thanks for yor video's look forward to seeing yor builds 👍🏻😎

What keeps those forks from twisting and bending.. I bet it takes a football field to get it turned around or just pick it up and turn it

Nothing haha its just made out of 1 /4 chromoly and then fully sleeved with another stick of chromoly on the inside defiantly a 10 point turnaround hah

@@bendaves77 Honestly I have no idea, This is feet longer than any one we have ever tried. I know they were done in the 70's but have never seen them ridden in person to a decent extent. This is a good trial run though hah

Amen Saviour built some plunger style frames in the early 70s.

No thanks. Back in the sixties and seventies we were interested in long front ends too, but not at the expense of rideability.

@@henryjoneit2918 I think you'll find that extra 3 feet in length makes a lot of difference. Also, does yours have a rigid front end, a jockey shift and no front brake?
