Day 29 out of 2 MONTHS! We are attempting the LONGEST JOURNEY BY TOY CAR. We have to drive toy cars from Jacksonville FL to Key West. This will take two months of driving a toy car every single day! Doctor here, the wound doesn't look infected, but so apply some antibiotic ointment to be safe, try gently squeezing the wound, I know it'll be painful but if it oozes pus then it's infected and needs to be cleaned if it doesn't ooze pus then it's not infected. Since it's on a finger which is usually very mobile, the swelling is common.

I hope your finger and your car are okay. I can't imagine how scary that was to be stuck in a sketchy area. I'm glad your made it to your hotel safely. I hope your car starts working again or can easily be fixed. And I hope your finger starts to heal properly. If your finger is still bad and you are near a pharmacy they should be able to give recommendations on what to do to help. OH WOW! If you finger looks infected and if doesn't look good by tomorrow, then please stop by an emergency room or see the local pharmacist at CVS or Walgreens to have them look at it. Please make sure to get that wheel and the electrical are good to good before hitting the road tomorrow. I would say stay another day if you need to time to fix your issues. GOOD LUCK!

Hello cassie um don't get rid of thoses band aid they will come in handy if you ever cut yourself or the driver in the front um remember you might not be around a public store or at the motels glad you got medical medicine for your fingers & hope you fix that pedal to the plastic zoom so that you can run all the way to the finish line . They make solar powered power banks. Id grab one of those and velcro it to the back of the car so it can charge itself as you drive. Then you always have a back up. Cant wait till you make it to deerfield beach! Safe travels

Have you considered braiding or twisting the duct tape? Thats what makes rope so strong. You can google hand twisting rope. It's hard to explain in a comment, but it's super easy to make and way less likely to break.

Cassie, hope you get this. duct tape tow rope can be achieved if you take three pieces and fold each in half then braid them like your hair. super strong. oh and dont forget to wrap the ends so it wont come apart. sorta like a rubber band on your hair. done this many times where a rope wasnt available. if u do pick up a rope notice that its braided and compare to your duct tape rope....lol. have fun. love you girls, keep riding.

Hi nurse here regarding your finger, it could be a bit infected but it doesn’t look that bad. If you clean it with isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and apply antibiotic ointment with a bandaid then repeat this process every 6-8 hours for a few days it should be good :)

I've had that happen in my finger before. Stop at a pharmacy any pharmacy and pick up something called "draw out salve". You're going to find it in like a rite aid and it will be by the Band-Aids and triple antibiotic ointment. The product is black and it stinks! You will put about a pee to Lima Bean sized blob on the Cotton part of a Band-Aid and then put the Band-Aid on your finger I'm leaving it on the rest of that day and overnight. It's going to work best if you don't get that Band-Aid or finger wet at all (so picking up those finger condoms I believe they call them finger cots they're the little white / white colored looking like a tiny condom that you put over your finger so that finger doesn't get wet). Next morning wash your finger really well. This time you'll just put a little bit of salve on the Cotton part of the Band-Aid put it back on your finger should take about 48 hours tops to draw out any possible infection in that finger. After 2 to 3 days of using the draw out salve you should be able to use neosporin or any other off-brand triple antibiotic ointment on a Band-Aid for probably about 24 hours. Then do not cover it again let it dry out and within a week a first putting on the draw out salve it'll be completely gone with no marks.

Problem with your car could be temperature protection. Some toy cars just turn off if engine is too hot and you have to wait until it cools down.
