I met Mason once, just outside Melbourne Central train station. He had 4 woman on his arms and stated to me "im the rizzler, no time for photos". Best. Day. Ever.

I saw Nick Mason at a grocery store in Melbourne yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I saw someone on twitter said it best today. Comparing the Rock to Dave Bautista (and to a lesser extent, John Cena), the latter two wrestlers turned actors put the art first. They accepted roles that they were personally invested in, even if it was for only a few scenes, while the Rock can't help but be the start of anything he's in. They pick roles that showcase their range, while the Rock always just picks roles where he plays the Rocks. Dwayne in his pursuit of that Hollywood bag, has left little to no legacy.

I am that huge fan of Godzilla you called out that has come to fact check you guys lol. 😜 Here you go: Godzilla began in 1954 (not ‘55), and will have two more movies to add to its list by this time next year. At almost 40 movies, several TV series spin-offs, and an almost 70 year history, Godzilla has long held the Guinness Book of World Records award for the Longest Running Film Franchise/Series. So no matter how you dice it, Godzilla technically comes out on top for both movies and TV shows, for it started before any of the others and easily has greater potential longevity than any of its contenders. One Piece and Star Wars will eventually fade away, but they’ll be making Godzilla movies till or species goes extinct. 😄 That, I think, is thanks to Godzilla‘s plasticity as a character, able to adapt to any time, any current social-political issues, any style. Hands down the most diverse film series ever. There’s a Godzilla movie for everyone, even for people who hate Godzilla movies. 😝

in order for the Fast crew to get The Rock (Hobbs and or Shaw) to come back with his signature little goatee, they should put out a marketing campaign saying “Hey The Rock, don’t you think your kids would like you to grow out your Hobbs and or Shaw goatee? They probably screamed at you and didn’t recognize you when you shaved it off and they’re scared of you now, The Rock. Do it for your children, The Rock, grow the goatee back so they love you again.” I reckon that’d do the trick

*The DICK WOLF universe is huge. There is law and order, svu, criminal intent, organized crime, trial by jury and law and orders UK & LA. That’s just the law and orders. The svu character John munch started on homicide life on the streets. Then you have Chicago pd, Chicago fire, and Chicago med where the actress who played the Lt. from law and order plays a different character that interacts with people her other character spent years working with and they never address it. Also Richard Belzer had played John Munch on 10 tv series: "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law and Order: Trial By Jury," "Homicide," "The X-Files," "The Beat," "M.O.N.Y.," "Sesame Street," "The Wire" and "Arrested Development."*

I personally will call her Rey Skywalker if anything just to avoid confusion but in universe there’s probably some people who would have an issue with that. The Skywalker name was elevated to a mythical status Anakin was a poster child for the republic and then a martyr. then the name was tarnished for when it came out Vader was that Jesus like figure and also the father of the two biggest heroes/leaders of the rebellion then they find out space hitler is back and big surprise he’s one of their biggest rebel hero’s parent too. I just think most people in this universe are probably sick of both of these families dragging a war on for the nearly the entire past century. All this to say I think it would be kinda neat if we saw that sort of spite towards Rey in the new movies from average citizens. if done well it could even be used as a parallel for fans sometimes undeserved criticism towards her as a character.

1873 is WAY too few for the tonight show. At least, it feels that way. 1954 means that this is the show's 69th year. 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year means 260 episodes a year. 260 episodes a year for 67 years (since this year isn't over and is being cut short, and I'm assuming it didn't start 1/1/54) means there'd be 17,420 episodes. EVEN IF you say, well, they actually only do 26 weeks a year, that's STILL almost 9000 episodes. What the hell happened?

So... Zach Snyder would rather say "I think moviegoers are stupid" than just admit he has no idea what makes someone heroic? Not surprised. I could tell exactly what he was doing... the problem is I still vehemently disagree with what he was doing. Being from Illinois and having driven through both Maryland and Virginia, all are fine on interstates. In cities, Virginia drivers are worse, but Maryland has weirder roads.

And also It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with its 15th season, the series became the longest-running live-action American comedy series, replacing The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which ran for 14 seasons (435 episodes) between 1952 and 1966. In December 2020, the series was renewed for a total of four additional seasons, bringing it to 18 seasons in total.
