Very cool video. Actually Wizz Air is about to open this summer new routes from Italy to Abu Dhabi, so MXP - AUH will probably be our longest route by great circle distance and I’ll get to fly it. Italian bases are also to be operated by Wizz Air Malta. I hope they would finally open new terminal. It just looks fantastic.

Wizz Air will from March 2025, start flights from London Gatwick to Jeddah. I believe this will be longer than this flight you covered.

I’ve been always curious whether Wizz crews flying from Vienna, Budapest, Sofia and Bucharest bases to Abu dhabi have to do the second sector back to the European base because they otherwise with these delays make more than 12 hour shifts! Excellent video by the way!

Good to know the tiny and horrible Terminals 1 & 3 from the 1970s have been replaced by the new Terminal A since the video was made.

Only the ones between the seats are moveable, the armrests next to the corridor are fixed.

It is not free. You need to pay 35AED (10$) for the bus ride.

I would never prefer to fly on this type of cheap airline in order to save a few euros or dollars at the expense of my personal comfort, especially long trips.. Traveling is a pleasure.. But traveling with Waze is torture.

Hi! It’s not. If you check it on fr24 you can see that the Katowice-Abu Dhabi flight is always 5h and 20 minutes. And Auh-Ktw is almost the same the Auh-Vie. (According to google Auh-Vie is the longest flight)
