I have this watch as well. I always get compliments when I wear it. The finish of the dial is amongst the best in all horology. The shade of blue is just perfect and the texture has an enamel like quality. It's a fine looking chronograph. Not a single mark to the watch in two years of wearing it, that's testament to the grade 5 titanium's scratch resistance. I have quite a few 20mm straps and the Big Eye suits quick release straps from the British watch brand 'Farer'. It looks great on a dark navy strap and a bracelet as well as the tan. Also keeps COSC level accuracy at +1.5 seconds a day. The only downside for me is the 3 second intervals make the minutes totaliser a little hard to read, but it's great looking so I can forgive that. Enjoy!

Can you check the movement? The minute hand does not jump but slowly progresses to one minute. For a Valjoux movement this is not common, neither for a 3 register chronograph.

You need to check out the seiko deep blue hole diver. That dial is amazing for the price also. I have this big eye in the OG black. Indeed very nice. The pushers and pusher action is so satisfying

It looks great and sounds like a great movement. Does it have a 50 minute minutes totalizer? If so, that’s a deal breaker for me. A chrono with less that 60 minutes totalizer just doesn’t make sense to me. Did I misread the dial?

Easy mistake to make. The small markers on the totalizer are one minute and the larger ones are three (not five as most chronos!). So it is a 30 minute totalizer on the Big Eye subdial. Takes a bit to get used to (I have the original steel model), but makes sense in no time. The subdial at six is a totalizer for 12 hours, but very easy to read when half hour is gone.

Yeah Buddy !!!!!!! I've been into Longines for a very long time, but I just found one that I'm going to pull the trigger on. I'm surprised that their prices are reasonable for what you get and I'm looking at the Hydro Conquest Deep Blue, which is visually stunning in the daylight. It's a rich Deep Blue and Yes people, kinda looks like a Roli-Sub don't get your panties all in a bunch, (For all of you Rolex sycophants). This L,A, Big Eye Titanium is freakin beautiful and pushed me into looking into the Longines catalogue, Congrats Chris, and Blessings.
