I was about to buy this watch but ended up getting a Tudor P01, because there are few variety of this model, and the P01 has only one itself

My friend has a P01 for sale at the min, its a funky watch I've reviewed one before 👍🏻

Lovely looking watch. a Agree with you on the strap. I’d put it on a dark brown vintage style Laco strap myself.

Now that would be a great choice Conrad

Thanks for the video! The depth and history of Longines catalog is amazing

Hi Barry, I suspect that this might be too big for me although I'd need to try it for comfort. Longines make some nice heritage watches: I'm thinking of the Weems and Hour Angle models in addition to this. I wouldn't buy this watch, but I absolutely understand those who might... Thanks for showing us Barry, it's a fine piece. LG Bob 🍻
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
Both those models are about 47mm , its a seem FCW doesn't have one or I'd review for you matey, Take care see you at the next one 👍🏻
@robertlock6041Ай бұрын
@ClickSpringReview Yes, they are big but I'm glad that Longines continues to make them... I think that you're unlikely to get for review unless you approach Longines directly...
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
@@robertlock6041 I could ask 🤔
@robertlock6041Ай бұрын
@@ClickSpringReview I must admit that I'd love to own one (or both) of these, but probably wouldn't wear them because of the size. This isn't a criticism of the watches because the originals were huge (like Flieger watches), and they were intended for a specific purpose. Owning one would give me a sense of holding a piece of history in my hand though, in the same way a suitably huge Laco Flieger would... 🍻

Exactly and well said Bob

Great looking and original watch, with some serious heritage. Although at 43mm and with such bulky case it will look ridiculous on average-sized wrists. It certainly would on mine :D As I type this, a Spirit 37mm that I got a great Black Friday deal on is on its way and I'm stoked.
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
You lucky guy 😎
@The_RealStarkIndustriesАй бұрын
For all those who want a 37mm version, I recommend sourcing a vintage Lemania or Eterna-made variant. No coin-edging, but otherwise…essentially the same design.
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
Cheers for the heads up
@HectorsdadАй бұрын
Remove the coin edge, change it from a cushion case, add a unidirectional diving bezel, modernise the look and polish it to a mirror finish and hey presto! A watch I might consider buying - but probably wouldn’t even then. Good review though.
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
I thought with your big wrists you'd like this one chap

@@ClickSpringReview How does this compare to the ultra chron? I daily mine and have been thinking about getting this as well.

@@hiimlancelim Now thats a tough one I love the high beat movement of the Ultra but out the two I think I prefer the Majetek out the two

Hanhart and Vostok had a Czech love child? 🤨. Definitely unique and retro. Got to see in person.

I wasn't to sure at first but now I've got to handle it I have to say its a bit special
@jaredstephenson6468Ай бұрын
I wish they would make this in a smaller size, throw on a bracelet...it really is beautiful.
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
The original was 40.5mm so that would be perfect for me and as you say a bracelet would be great but being titanium would also add another grand to the price
@swanney75Ай бұрын
This looks great but how the hell does it manage to make a Sinn U2 look svelte on your wrist by comparison? 😂 if this was a curved case it’ll look a lot smaller, as it is it looks like you’ve strapped a wall clock to your arm. The design is awesome and it’s nice to see Longines releasing varied stuff- I’m looking forward to their 3 hand Hydroconquest update 👍
@ClickSpringReviewАй бұрын
You are right just by curving the case or even the lugs would have a big visual impact on making this look slimmer but I think they wanted to keep with the original design even if the OG version was 40.5mm case size matey ps I'll keep my eye out for the Hydroconquest

@Anthony-s8v7bАй бұрын
@ClickSpringReview definitely. There's a real elegance in the face with the train track ring and the particular font they use for the numbers. I wish they had a day/date in their master collection - those blue hands on the white face 👌🏻

I have a feeling it would be to small, I think you could get away with 40/41 for this type of case design

the original was 40.5 and 52 Lug to lug so actually its pretty close, So many people believe that all vintage models were small but thats not alway the case look and Panerai and Laco they were over 50mm
