Don’t watch the trailer Don’t watch this review Me: well shit….😂

When you said you were smiling while watching this despite it being horror, I had the exact experience when I watched “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” (which Perkins directed). It truly made me appreciate how brilliant and captivating horror is compared to every other genre.

It's been a long time since I paid to go see a horror movie. This time I hope to not be disappointed.

Can't wait to see this film this Friday! I already sense I am really going to like the film, I don't know if I will love it (I hope I do) but I don't think I will be left disappointed, that I am positive about. The marketing for this film has been perfect, the trailers are amazing and from the first couple early reviews I can tell that this film is going to be something unforgettable, definitely will leave you thinking about it afterwards for sure.

It was a good horror film but I feel like they could have done more with the satanic stuff towards the end. The ending was so abrupt.

Just watched it. Very disappointing. The FBI agent spends 70% of her screen time breathing heavily. And staring into space. And what a wimp of an agent to begin with. When Evil Lurks...that's horror.

I was just like all of you in believing all the review hype and watching all the "scary" cryptic trailers. Saw it last night, and once again felt bamboozled for paying good money and taking the time and effort to see a movie in the theater. This was a big steamy turd. Good cinematography, the only positive thing I have to say for Perkins on this. Poor construct, poor pacing, BAD dialogue, scenes/actions that made absolutely no practical sense. Nic Cage doing Nic Cage cringy acting but in "serial killer" form. It was bad, and then he (she?) started talking, even worse. This will be on a streaming service for $4.99 in no time. When the ACTUAL and HONEST reviews of people that truly saw this movie start flooding in you will see the movie review scores take a dive. Avoid at all costs. Hail Satan. Bang a Gong.

Yeah but it's all necessary for the film. It's more in the third act.

I’m questioning if I should let my lil 16 year old cousin see this movie. Does it have a bunch of Satanic imagery?
@EwanReviews4 ай бұрын
Nothing promoting it. Just classic horror stuff.

@@EwanReviews thats interesting because I made a similar comment on another youtube channel and he said “yes and at times it can be verbally and visually a bit too much.” So I’m getting mixed responses. My little cousin acts like he loves horror and he said he really wants to see this movie but he gets easily terrified by the Conjuring movies and I can tell that they have a temporary effect on him. I’m just not trying to scar him for life ya know lol

@@DonovanGG__ Hmm... Honestly, The Conjuring movies are fairly wide appeal. Like, they have very generic horror elements and cliche scares in them. So, if he gets scared by the Conjuring movies, I'd PROBABLY say it's not a very good idea to watch Longlegs. Even though the movie has few jump scares, it is pretty merciless to some of the characters (not spoiling) and has an extremely dark, bleak atmosphere with a constant, never fading sense of dread. Like, it's not necessarily a horror-thriller made for wide audience. Yes, there is satanic imagery in it too. Ultimately, if I were in your situation, I'd give him all this information and let him choose if he still wants to see it. But hey, that's only me. Whatever you decide, have fun!

@@arcticwolf6402 true and I appreciate your comment, I think the youtuber just misunderstood my question. And you’re right about The Conjuring being very popular, generic horror compared to this type of stuff, that isn’t afraid to really get weird.

Depends on the person I think. If hes scared by the conjuring, I probs wouldnt recommend it. Buy if hes a pretty mature 16 yr old should be totally fine tbh.
