2025 Ford Escape - What's Changed

Just bought my 2024 ST Line Elite three weeks ago, I had thought of waiting for 25 but I'm glad I didn't after watching this, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Wow. I just recently purchased a 2024 Escape Premium and came here to see what new features I was potentially missing out on. Turns out I'm not missing anything. Boy am I ever happy I purchased the 2024! I *love* the interior ambient lighting, rain sensor wipers and park assist on my Escape. These changes signal to me that Ford is getting ready to announce the end of the Escape. Why else would they elimate so much in the 2025 models??

I got the 2024 ST Elite Saturday in Silver and love it! I’m so glad I did too! I do not like the new silver it’s basically white.

Thanks Tim. The Escape is a nice vehicle. I hope that Ford will continue to make them past MY 2025. Hopefully sales are good enough to do that.

I am Glad I went with the 2024 as the elimination of Items would Cost me even more to get similar items and Still missing the Power Liftgate I have on the 24 among other changes!

Removing park assist would be a deal breaker for me. I don't use it very often in my 2017 Escape but find it very useful when I do. The 2025 seems very decontented compared to my 2017. Guess I'll keep it as long as I can.

Surprised to see the body color moldings going away. I really like those on our ‘23 ST-Line. But I’m sure it helps lower the MSRP. They could have at least made it an option though. However, it seems they made all the bumpers the same this year, which helps with number of different parts; another cost savings.

The primary reason I purchased my 2024 Escape Active was the driver power seat and power lift gate. I'm getting 32 mpg in the up and down the mountains and every trip the average mpg increases.

Seems like the higher trims didn't lose much, they took a lot off the Active to get that price down though.

Glad I purchased the 2024...Yeah the 2025 is a little lower in price but you are giving up a lot of options...Many that came standard on the 2024 models. We went with the 24 platinum and I suggest you stay away from that 1.5L 3 Cylinder...Definitely get the 250HP 2.0L turbo 4 Cylinder...Trust me you will be so glad that you did! Dont take my word for it! Test drive the 1.5L and the 2.0L before you buy and see which one gets your adrenaline going!

They need to rid of so much of the hard plastic in the interior. They need to refresh it, looks to cheap inside. You can get a Lincoln Corsair for less than a not much than the top of the Platinum trim.

I rented one with the power lift gate and found it annoying. I liked the old Escape that was simple. I hope Ford works to improve reliability as the (other brand) we replaced the Escape with has no major problems at 150k with no unscheduled maintenance. I had to give up my first Escape at about 150 k and the second at 130k due to reliability issues. Otherwise great vehicles.

Nothing changed, carryover from 2024 MY. The good thing is the higher end trims is cheap

No more Spare tire. The Active removed the Power Tailgate, removed the Better steering Wheel cover. No More Speed Recognition on the Active. No Rain Sensing Wipers. No more Power seat in the Active. I am Happy I got my 24 Escape Active. I like My Chrome around the Windows rather than the Black.
