This show deserved a longer run. It has truly been one of my favorite experiences in all my time of watching fiction. I put this program at the same level of greatness as programs like Sons of Anarchy and Justified. To the cast of Longmire, there was never a single performance that lacked an ounce of solid acting. Your work will be forever treasured by such a fan as myself.

The friendship between Walt and Henry was wonderful to watch. The cowboy and the indian, who each were willing to lay down their lives for the other, and proved it on many occasions. Skin color and culture should not keep people apart.

Longmire is the greatest show ever, in my opinion. I loved all the characters; they all had such depth and contributed so much to the show. The actors did an amazing job, and the writers are worth twice whatever they were paid! The scenery was breathtaking, the music set the scenes perfectly. An amazing show in all aspects. Now that it is over, I feel like my best friend has died. Thanks for the memories!

That song "Carry me home", when Walt is dragging Henry across the desert, haunts my thoughts. That was one of the most powerful scenes I have ever seen in a tv show, or movie. The soundtrack throughout was fantastic, as was every aspect of this great show. I will go back and watch this from beginning to end, many times in the future.

Netflix wish you would consider making and running mote of Longmier. I am not a fan of series type movies but this is one I have watched over and over and I mean all six seasons. Great acting and the music score is fantastic. I have brought up the movie in casual conversation and hear the same thing from people, great movie wish it had continued. I will watch the reruns until you drop the series.

I have been singing "Carry me Home" all day. That scene where Walt was dragging Henry across the desert, after Walt had been bitten by a rattler, was one of the most incredible scenes in tv / movie history!

I know. I am so into this show, and just can't get enough. Walt Longmire is the man I want to be, and the rest of the characters are great, as well. Great stories and cast, amazing acting, absolutely compelling from the first minute of episode one, all the way through to the final minute of season 6.

Had a bad crash on my Specialized road bike and broke my hip this summer. The event really sucks because I love summer!!! Bought Netflix to help get me through recovery. My Dad said to watch this So I did. Somewhat hesitant at first, but ended up loving it. I am 61 and my dad is 84. Bless his heart for pressuring me to start watching this. He does have control issues though. Ha Ha

I like watching longmire because i was filmed in las vegas new mexico at the plaza there. I was there this past summer, and saw the door to the sheriff office. It felt like stepping into a scene from the show. Sadly they were no longer filming longmire. So i couldn't get the opportunity to meet longmire.

Longmire is a very good show and I will be sorry to see it go. Some of the actors have said that they are in talks to do a series of Longmire movies and the sets for the show are being stored not torn down, so I am going to keep my fingers crossed.

I liked seasons 1-3 better than 4-6 because in the first three the episodes were shorter and mystery cases were solved by the end of an episode. In seasons 4-6 episodes were sometimes over an hour long and for three seasons we were waiting for Walt to get out of trouble. Nevertheless, this is one of the best shows I've watched. The acting was brilliant. Every single character was greatly portrayed.

This show is just one of those rare gems that you happen across every decade or so. Exceptional writing, even better acting, and there isn't an overt or blatant use of sex, drugs, foul language, or violence. It seems like a lot of shows nowadays are crammed with all of those things, but this one is simply fantastic bc of its realistic design and HUMAN nature of the story line itself. This is *originality* if I've ever seen it.

Since Longmire has ended, I was thinking how cool it would be if they would reboot the old "Gun Smoke" series, and use the guy that played Sheriff Longmire, to play Marshall Dillon. From what I've seen on this post, and other places online, there must be millions of fans begging for a good quality Western series, like we used to have with Bonanza, The Big Valley, Gun Smoke and others. Give me a good old fashioned Western, over all the supernatural and politically correct rubbish they are pumping out now.
