Lou Diamond Philips was great in this series, the best acting I've seen him do by a mile. The role of Henry couldn't have been done by anyone else.

I must agree. He stated in a interview it was he best acting experience; at the end of Season 2 he was made an honorary member of the tribe by the Northern Cheyenne.

Time to go home, the relinquish of power over another , the jubilation of being set free and the thought of suddenly wondering what do i do now , three very ponderous and emotional epiphanies. This scene made me think and it made me cry. I miss Longmire

The "powers that be" at A&E, a term I use loosely, really had no clue of what a powerful and endearing show that they let slip away. All in the name of pandering to certain demographics.

I watch this every time I am lost. Brings me perspective in the dark and confusing time I am going through. What’s home to each one of us? It cant be a piece of land, a geographical binding, a place of birth, a community or language affiliation, or even money and career. What’s home? I ask myself and when I get my answer I know I can rest in peace.
@Wanagiyata3 жыл бұрын
That's great.. That makes me clipping and posting this video completely worth it.. Yeah we all have our own idea or feeling of home.. I found mine in myself after years and years of searching, in my soul.. It makes everything so much calmer and better to handle.. Good luck finding your peace and feeling home ❤️

This is my absolute favourite scene in all of Longmire. I was moved to tears watching Walt set the wild horse free (as Henry recited the story of the great spirit) only for Walt to recognize that Horse had clearly taken quite a liking to Walt, knew he was in safe and capable hands and decided to stay put with the Sheriff. = Kindred spirits :)

This episode breaks me down. Henry, while troubled and uncertain before, now is at peace with his actions. Ada has given him a rock and context for that which drove him to a path of violence. In his mind he has done something good and ultimately, this will accompany him thru its resolution. This ep. shows what so many people need when presented with tribulation - a community, a sense of self-worth, attachment to, or vision of something, bigger than ourselves and a belief in a greater good.

It's pretty common for stray cats to decide they've found their humans, and settle into stay. People call it "getting adopted by a cat" instead of "adopting a cat"...looks like Walt's been adopted by a horse!

Although many do not realize it, the series is just an artistic representation of all the archetypal characters in old west history, it's just been retold in modern form. It gets it right by accepting that there are heroes and villains in all cultures, which many times do indeed live up to the stereotype, and sometimes not. Regardless, they continually compliment each other as a land and a nation moves forward 🇺🇸⚔️

having 3 kinds of indian blood in my viens (along with irish and german ) but i hold the indian side very close to my heart the words they elders speak are words of truth they are very wise and the stories and words have been passed from chief to chief down through the ages i hope we never lose them all it will be a sad day for all if we do .....the woods and its animals do speak to you if you know how to listen .... watch the movie get low with robert duvall you,ll love it ..
@Wanagiyata10 жыл бұрын
what a great comment :) what a great mix you are haha... im all frisian... yes would be sad indeed to loose that wisdom.. as i look at the world today i do see many already have.. yet if we contineu to speak of it and share our own found wisdoms about love, also for nature and animals and respect for life, im hopin it will inspire :) i watched the trailer looks like a great movie thanks i will watch it ! have a great day Donald :) !

im half Pokagon band Potawatomi Tribe and have Irish, and Prussian decent as well, but I can tell you tribal knowledge wasn't passed down from Chief to Chief it was passed down from elders to the young at the coming of age why do you think most tribes would wait to give a young Indian their true name several years after they were born?. it was to see there temperament and whoch animal and element they most resembled. unless youve been given a feather by your tribe you cannot be named and its the whole tribe decision on what your name is. unofficially you can call yourself anything you want. 200yrs ago there were 360 million native Indians , today theres around 1.4 million. within 100 years are race will be gone and what will be left will be in museums if we dont destroy earth first. and out of the 1.4 mil 9% are full blooded so thats roughly 94k.

hi Piget :) thanks for your comment :) arent we all unique and awesome mixed in our own way haha nice :) what do you mean with your ast comment i dont understand? i dont think one specific way can be called the truth so every person can only atest to there own exerience in getting wisdom passed on or finding it in their own heart and soul.. because thats where we all have the same wisdoms we just need a wise man or woman to remind us of that
