Mythos & Logos – World Mythology and Religions

Күн бұрын

People from all around the world go through rites of passage. Some are once-in-a-lifetime events, others happen regularly. These are the moments that form the chapters of our lives, when everything forward is different. In many Native American cultures, the most important rite of passage is a spiritual journey known as a Vision Quest. By listening to traditional Native American stories of Vision Quests, we can better understand history, living cultures, and our own journey in life.
Mythos & Logos are two ancient words that can be roughly translated as “Story & Meaning.”

I have seen that spirit, when i sought out the image of the Messiah that was the clothing he wore, but without the feathers. With drums & singing to the Great Spirit in the background. Though his countenance can not be put into words, But the clothing was also unlike anything i have seen, a green i have never seen & a color that i saw more like biege not white but not yellow exactly either yet it is a form of yellow. Ayo Hawwah Great Spirit Bless.

It's interesting how often it can be difficult to put spiritual encounters into words; I'm glad that listening to this story helped you to gain some context for your experience! There is so much to explore, and I always would recommend having a trusted elder, teacher, or guide to help. Best wishes to you in your journey

The Great Spirit in Ma is alive living giving us life. Not the male gods men cut her down for. History reveals the laws godly men made against the great spirits flesh, then turned Da against Ma. Then Ma against Da, to get out children after taking Da's seed to spread across Mama lands. He followed man who wanted to own her through the gods of men.
