THANK YOU! The very first step you show was probably the most important! That was the step all the other videos didn’t say needed to be done. Stupid other videos didnt say that a 2D mode needed to be activated! That’s why I kept controlling two collars at once instead of separate buttons. This is a life safer! This was super helpful and I have watched 4 times but I can't seem to get the red button and black button to work separately. It only lights up when the stimulation is on when I press the red button. Nothing with the black button. I am definitely missing something.

Hi! I am going to watch this video and excited that it was referred to me by the company selling the ET 300. I am in the situation of needing to have a remote in 1D mode when it came as a "set" with 2 collars and one remote. I'm getting a strange code display when following the steps in the user guide.

You don’t have to pair it each time and now with the most recent models, the finger button is always ready to send a signal.

Hi Ziva! Thanks for reaching out. Let me first address how you can set the boost level. Here is what I’d like you to do. First, make sure the collars are not on your dogs. Next, change the transmitter to momentary mode. Now, set the stimulation level to zero. Next hold the black s for several seconds. When you hold the button down long enough, the zero will turn into a 1 on the display. At this point, you will need to dial the collar to the additional boost level you would like for dog 1. So, if your normal working level is a 9, and you would like your boost level to be 15, you would turn the dial to 6. The 6 would be added to your working level of 9. Now that you have boost level on the display, tap the black s again and that will set the boost. Now let’s lock in your working level. Turn the dial on the top of your collar to your desired working level for dog 1. Once that’s one the screen, press down on the dial on the top of the transmitter until you see the 1D on the display change from flashing to solid. When this happens, your collar is now locked. When you press the black s, it will now send that level to dog ones collar. When you press the black s immediately followed by the red s, that will now send the boost level to dog ones collar. Follow the same instruction for dog two but instead of pressing the black s, you will press the red s. I hope that helps.

Hi so I have two dogs. I pressed like you said the red black and t button and heard two beeps. But I till see dig1 unless I press the top button and put it in two dog mode. Any suggestions?

I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to do. Once you set the dial to zero and then hold the red s, black s, and black t, you should now be in two dog mode. You’ll get two beeps from the transmitter. Your black s will now go to dog 1 and the red s will go to dog 2. I hope that helps. If not feel free to message me back

What’s happening is it’s has dog1 and dog2 if I press the top button it goes to dog1 press again to dog 2 . so instead of black for black collar and red for red collar. It has black and red for dog 1 and black and red for dog 2 . Tech support says this is the way it works.. but I think it bs the yellow et300 had black for black collar and red for red collar.

Sorry that I’m just seeing this. If you press and hold the black S and follow it with the red S, that will access boost mode. If you invert that, then it will work for the opposite collar. I hope that helps.

I went through the same problem. To fix it I first pressed the red button to put it on the second collar. From there reconnect the second collar to the second collar setting. Than make sure to hold down the red S and then the black S until it beeps.

If you hear the remote beep twice, it will be on 2 dog mode.
