This game has so many secrets that are hidden in plain sight. I never knew I could jump on the doghouse platform in the 1st level to get those powerups.

This game put all others to shame when it came to animation and art design. It's insane that they pulled this off in the 16 bit era. The only thing that I wish they would have added in this "special edition" would be the ability to switch between weapons. Maybe someday someone will make a hack that includes the feature...
