This Anime was called F-Zero: Falcon Densetsu (translates to: F-Zero: The Legend of Falcon.) Or in here you call it F-Zero GP Legend. Weird to know about the Anime was named after the game in 2003. What I know about this franchise is that it's based on GP Legend and Climax. I also know a bad thing about this Anime. The Anime consists of 51 episodes, but it only had 15 episodes in the U.S. before the Anime canceled (the first episode being The Legend Begins and the last one in the U.S being Target Tanaka.) Only the Japanese version had all 51 episodes. After bad sales of 5 games (F-Zero X, F-Zero Maximum Velocity, F-Zero GX, F-Zero GP Legend, and F-Zero Climax which didn't reach the US), F-Zero AX not being found in all arcades, and the last episode of the Anime in Japanese was aired, the franchise has been dormant in 2004.

(Thanks "Uchiha Madao" for some help in creating this video.. more info below) I've played over 420 GameCube games and aside from the broken titles I've played, I feel pretty safe to say this is the hardest title on the system. It ranks that on many compiled "hardest GameCube games" lists online too. I guess the beauty of this game is that more people could finish it than you could imagine... it just takes practice.. a lot of it. This game is all about perfection, where you'll be replaying the same 1-2 minute stage for hours until you get it right. For literally every Story mode chapter (except the first), I started off by saying "there's no way I can ever do this", but the graphics, music and gameplay are all addicting making you want to try over and over again and you'll notice improvement as you go along. You'll notice this the most during Chapter 5 and 6 I'd say as you'll die in the first seconds during those stages on your first tries but as you keep practicing, you'll make it to more and more seconds. I guess this is what makes the game so addicting. After an hour of trying you'll be smashing your controller on the floor saying "I've never gotten this far" and half an hour later, that personal best becomes your average. Despite all this, after 10 hours of recording and only having 4 of the GP tournaments and 6 of the Story mode chapters (with chapter 7 arguably being the hardest on "normal" mode), I decided to ask for help in an F-Zero community as I wasn't able to make my video deadlines if I were forced to practice the last few chapters and GP race for an unguessable amount of hours. As sick as it sounds, there's a community of people who enjoy playing these F Zero games on daily basis and love to tackle on the "Very Hard" modes and beat each others records in it or use mods to generate their own randomized grand prix tournaments. Very friendly people by the way. I have to give credit to "Uchiha Madao" for completing chapter 7, 8 and 9 as well as the final GP tournament (on Master Mode difficulty!) for me. He saved not only my sanity, but also my video schedule. Ironically enough it seemed to take him maybe only half an hour as he has this entire game down to his fingertips. Anyway, besides the 9 chapters of story mode, there's 5 GP tournaments. You get 5 retries per GP, which definitely isn't enough for a first timer (but what do you expect?). Completing the GP's gets you tickets which can be used to unlock many other ships to play with but they're also required to unlock the next story mission. I don't show myself buying the story missions from the store each time because it's a bit annoying but yeah be aware that you have to buy them over there if you wish to progress further. A few ships are unlocked by completing the story missions on hard mode. In short, this video concludes all 9 story missions and their cool cutscenes, all the 5 GP's including the final track played in Time Attack and then also ALL of the unique endings. These endings are unlocked by completing any GP on Master Mode difficulty with the respective ship. So you basically gotta finish 44 GP's on Master Mode to get all the endings unlocked. They are first shown during the credits segment, but they're also saved in the pilot information screen which is where I view them all from. For anybody interested in joining the F-Zero community, there's a Discord called "F-Zero Nexus" that you should be able to find on Google.

GX is a masterpiece, but it would be garbage on the Switch. There’s no analogue triggers, which are super important, and the analogue sticks are crap compared to the GameCube. Add to that the joycon drift that most people have, the game would be unplayable.

Fantastic racing game! That being said, I use to rage so hard when I lost all my stocks during cups, especially during the later tracks. Just imagine if Mario Kart punished players by DQing them from a race if they feel off a track? I would love to see this get an HD re-release one day. Some obscure games like Sphinx & The Curse Mummy got an HD re-release so why not F-Zero GX? It's so dumb that Capt. Falcon is known way more for being a character in the Smash Bros series than the game he is actually from.

The original the most nostalgic, X is the hardest, and GX is the toughest to me. I still have this game and beaten it altogether. I still believe this is the fastest racing game to date. VERY fun listening to '90s hip hop with this intense gameplay. Story Mode is unforgiving, though. And Master difficulty is a real challenge. I think this game was the first major time Nintendo and Sega settled their infamous rivalry and became friends.

What F-Zero GX track would you want converted into a Super Smash Bros Ultimate stage? Port Town Aero Dive from the Sapphire Cup already got that treatment. For me, I’d say Mute City Twist Road and Aeropolis Multiplex from the Ruby Cup, and Outer Space and Lightning Thunder Road from the AX Cup. They would get the usual Smash adult graphical overhaul.

Think the REAL reason the series pretty much died after this game is because it was from a THIRD-PARTY!!!. Look at other games. Obsidian developed Fallout New Vegas AND Star Wars KOTOR 2, 2 games that people consider far better then the previous entries despite bugs, glitches and cut content.

@@randomdude88856 I used to dream about driving at break neck speeds and violently crashing after playing for a period of time. When I closed my eyes I saw myself zooming by one of the tracks at 3000kmph. I also had a very hard time beating the master levels which made me more fixated on trying to beat them, which in turn made my dreams more vivid. That was some time ago though, this doesn't mean I dislike the game, I think it's awesome :)

You know Nintendo needs to do? Remake this game and put new racers in it have actual background stories and missions/races for each character and put in some custom made tracks made by Nintendo from past fzero games and various tracks to unlock and with online play
