Final Fantasy is one of my favorite game series of all time, so going back the where it all began was very interesting! Despite a lot of the game being very buggy, there's still a lot to enjoy here! The first of many Final Fantasy games I'll do for the channel 🥳

You should try Final Fantasy Renaissance. Bug fixes as well as MANY additional classes and more added to the game.

I love the story behind this series. Square was going bankrupt, so as a last-ditch effort they created this game. And then it became one of the most beloved rpg series of all time

Of all the games you decide to do, you decide to do the NES version. Ain't that nice. The original has NOT aged well. At all. The game pretty much borrows elements from Dungeons & Dragons. On the other hand though, you got to admire Square's ambition on this game. It was their last hurrah, their last gambit and it paid off. The game came out in 1987 but we wouldn't get it until 1990. Nowadays though, I recommend playing the updated version whether it be the GBA/PSP version or the Pixel Remaster. And yes, the Pixel Remaster did bring back the Spell charges from the original but they did add Ethers and Elixirs to alleviate and they balanced the difficulty. For what it's worth, we should praise this game for what it brought to the table. If it wasn't for Dragon Quest though, this game wouldn't even exist. Sakaguchi admitted it that much and plus the game was done by Sakaguchi and four others: Akitoshi Kowazu, Nasir Gebelli (hate this guy), Koichi Ishii and Nobou Uematsu. Hope you plan to do the other FF games like with Dragon Quest/Warrior.

"When the world is shrouded in darkness, Four Warriors will come...." Thus begins the tale of the Final Fantasy, what was supposed to be Square's last stand but survived to create many more to this day. While I personally like the GBA/PSP remakes, I enjoyed seeing how it all started and what would return later (like Crystals, the jobs, and the famous FF prelude theme).

It was my 1st RPG game I’ve ever played & couldn’t for the Life of me how to beat it. Realized now that I now avoid RPG games due to this game.
