You are not alone, this game was very frustrating for me when i was a kids, I believe that I have never been further than the ice level. I always found this game hard, and when it was game over, I threw the gameboy.

'Ang Pag-ibig' Ko by Keane is a love theme song or travel from 'The Dreamer of Filinvest (Season 12) that's very relaxing to ride! However, everything else is pretty good feeling! While Lesven and Keane isn't problem at all, it's nice to try out if you're curious about it!

i want to like this game but man....since i'm very bad in pinball, this game frustrates the hell out of me. Most of the time, you find yourself failing to hit the designated area regardless of how hard you tried. Some of the section where you need to be fast is infuriatingly impossible such as hitting the switch and collecting the required coins. If you are not fighting against the time, then you are fighting with yourself trying to survive in that room. It doesn't matter how much progress you made, the moment you drop out of the room, congrats as all your hard work are now undone. The fish boss where you need to juggle a Bob Omb onto the fish to hit him, the egyptian boss where you can become small if you hit the projectile, trying to push the iceberg onto the cracked surface are some of the biggest examples showing flaws of the game. You can accidentally fall out of those rooms and you are forced to backtrack to get back into that room, only to possibly fail it once more. Let's not forget the blue pipe in the middle will leave the screen after few minutes, making you even more vulnerable to failing. The experience is completely ruined by this dumb mechanic. It might look like it can be done around 5 minutes but thanks to the control, you will most likely spend close to 30 minutes. It is not fun. Oh yeah, let's not forget the unfair save file. You can save whenever you want and the game loads back to where you're last at. But the second you get a game over, say goodbye to the save file because the game deletes it, (afaik) making you start all over again. Despite all the cons, i gotta admit the level theme is pretty creative, it still retains the Mario universe environment, making the players feel much more familiar with. The music also fit well with each location such as ice level which is my favourite. I can see the direction of the game but man.....the execution is just not good. - Sincerely, a guy who sucks at pinball

I just thought of something... What if they made a sequel to this game, but instead of Mario starring in it, it's Waluigi, going through some weird esoteric pinball levels similar to themes in Wario Games. If you think about it, Waluigi has always associated himself to pinball thanks to MK DS, Mario Sports Mix, and the upcoming Mario Party Jamboree. I honestly think this is the most likeliest scenario if Nintendo ever decides to make a game for him. But alas, I don't think it'll happen
