Longplay of Super Smash Bros. Melee [NEW]

Oh man, another full re-recording. This time it's Super Smash Bros. Melee as I figured it'd be good to prioritize this one. There honestly wasn't too much wrong with the old upload aside from mismatched color range, component quality and black bars. I had quite a bit of fun re-recording this, although completing the Classic mode with all characters gets a bit repetitive when you try to do it in a single sitting lol. I tried my best to choose a variety of characters for the Event Matches, although Marth is one of my best characters to play with so he's chosen for some of the matches I struggle with. This game was a big part of my childhood but I was never an expert at it or anything but I just loved collecting trophies. One of the more interesting things about starting LPA a decade later was getting to play the actual games associated with these trophies (one of them being Kururin Squash! for the GameCube). I knew all of the trophies, but I only knew half of the games. Now obviously after completing the entire GameCube library I recognize all trophies. This longplay doesn't focus on getting all of them though, nor do I have the free time nowadays to do such a thing, but it'd be fun. What this longplay focuses on is pretty much all of the unique content. I made sure to showcase Classic, adventure and all-star mode (on Normal difficulty), as well as all of the 51 Event Matches. The minigames are also included, such as the target test, home run contest and 100-man melee. Finally, one thing that the previous video was missing was the showcasing of a few stages. Naturally, almost all stages are shown through the event matches and 1P modes, except for Yoshi's Island and Kongo Jungle which belong in the "Past Stage" category (basically N64 stages). There's one more N64 stage but that one is covered in Event Match 48, so I didn't feel the need to show it twice. The only stages I decided to show once more outside of the main longplay are the auto scroll stages, in which I just let CPU's beat each other up for two minutes. I wanted to make sure to show these stages again with a two minute timer so the entire stage actually gets shown. You could argue that the F-Zero stage is also a bit of an auto scroller but it's not really the same. So, in short, this is the most complete I think I can get this longplay. The quality is also pretty much as good as I can get it so this should be the very final version :) a like and comment is much appreciated to help bring this one back into the algorithm!

Yeah I think I had the game since I was 8 years old or something. Everybody was talking about it on the playing ground at school so I really wanted to have it too but I had to wait for my birthday. This definitely wasn’t a game that was super popular and talked about right from the start though, as the Players Choice edition was already out when I finally got my hands on it

This was my first Smash game I got just 7 months after got my first Gamecube for my birthday in July 2005 and over the years, I’ve became a pro at the Smash Bros series!

I remember how I printed out a guide on how to unlock every character in this game, so me and my dad could do it. We even left the Gamecube on overnight during a match just so we could unlock Mewtwo. We completed all the event matches and everything.

I played and completed Super Smash Bros Brawl’s story mode on the Wii many times and found the other 3 characters Toon Link, Wolf and Jigglypuff of the Pokémon Series.

I only played the N64 version, I never played that one, at the time I couldn't afford to buy a gamecube.. nowadays I could have this game now as an emulator but it was enough to see the gameplay here XD thanks

This game came out in North America in December of 2001, not March, especially considering that the GameCube wasn't even out yet at the time either since the GameCube itself wasn't released until November.
