I finally purchased my own copy of the 3D version of Majora's Mask a few weeks ago and I enjoyed what I played so far. My only complaint is that because this game is on a time limit I can't spend too much time traveling or admiring the scenery.

This game had me very on my toes about time 😂 not a day went by that I did not play the "inverted song of time" that you learn from talking to one of the scarecrows. Flow of time to move at 50% of normal speed? Heck yes plz

I think both on the original N64 and 3DS what takes 30 seconds of real time without pausing for an in-game hour to pass by now takes 2 minutes and 15 seconds when time is slowed down which translates to well over 2 hours per cycle and that's not counting the moments when time stands still pause the game or talking with somebody

Dinofolos in early game is such a fun boss fight, a fire breathing lizard with a sword, and crazy agility such as link’s. I wish they had more moves and had way more health, because it would probably make my top 10 mini bosses, but the frog is a bit better imo, because you can’t just one shot it with the great fairy’s sword, you have to play its game instead.

I played this game a little but i never got the time to finish it. But the few i have done was pleasant...and stressful. Many people consider this as « a Zelda of its own », a installment apart from TLOZ saga, mostly because of its dark mood and moments filled with sadness and sometimes disappointment. I wasn’t aware of that(maybe a little now but still not enough). I think the worst thing is the Evil Moon : not only its face is unsettling to look at, but it add more stress. I dare you to say « i wasn’t impressed by that » ! But it doesn’t mean it’s a bad game. It’s a cult classic to play absolutely.

I will give MM credit where credit's due: the dungeon designs are fare more layered and complex and above all fantastic. The Great Bay Temple makes the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time seem simplistic in comparison.

I never liked this game as a child but it was pretty enjoyable with a FAQ, so I know exactly what you mean. The additional annoying factor in this game specifically is having to re-do all events when the clock finishes the 3rd day, so you feel rushed to figure out what to do
