Halo 3 truly was worthy of its status as "Legendary." I remember all those restaurants, all those stores, all those websites, and all those magazines had contests, cups, shirts, everything for Halo 3. Truly absolutely fantastic gameplay, play control, high-definition graphics, sound, and music in both stereo and 5.1. The online and offline parts of the game were all perfect. The plot was so well written.

I think if I ever get an Xbox system again, one of the only games I would play nonstop & never get tired of it would be Halo. This was my childhood back in the day. I'd play this a lot with my dad, my sister, & my old neighbors who were like a brother & sister to us. One of the greatest video games of all time & this is in my top 10 favorite video games of all time.

Thank you for doing this long play. It has helped me get through Halo 3 when I got stuck. The way I play is I play it cold until I get stuck then I come to KZbin and try to find answers from good folk like you. Thank you again. There is one thing, those Flood with the teeth! When I saw that, I exclaimed what the hell was that! It really got me. And those AIs, the Monitors. That tells us to tread lightly and slowly with AI now that it has really come to pass. Thank you.

This was played on a lower difficulty. Playing on a higher difficulty, where you die a lot, and replaying the game again on legendary where you do it all over again but with a lot more dying... yeah, that extends the experience.

@@PaulGaither Also, as a kid you're always replaying games and re-watching movies over and over again without getting bored. This adds to the feeling of it being longer than it is.

@@viktorthevictor6240 - Correct. and your experience/perception of time is different. When you are 15, 5 years is a third of your life. When you are 35, it is 14% of your life. I am a high school teacher and summer vacation in the Southern hemisphere is coming to an end. As a child, we think of endless summers. As an adult, our weeks are planned out to be productive in the few weeks we have off. This January 2022 has flown by and has me grasping at where all the time has gone, yet looking back I can see the progress. Shopping, cleaning the house, various appointments such as the doctor, watching the NFL playoffs, daily workouts to stay fit, walking the dog, etc. As a child, you only have to do a fraction of those things if any at all.

In my opinion, still the best Halo. Caps the Covenant Conflict satisfyingly while introducing cool new features like Forge.

respect your opinion but i dont't agree. I started a journey of playing all the games from 1 to 4 and i didn't think much of halo 3. In my opinion halo ce and reach left a big impact on me and i remember their story and gameplay. Halo 2 was cool but annoying. And halo 3 i don't even rememeber. Halo 4 was my first so i guess i'm kinda biased on it when i say it good. But it's not better than ce or reach. Anyways i guess i'll have to replay halo 3 to see what all the fuss is about.

@@i_likemen5614 Halo 3's forge is weak sauce. Evem back 2007 it was a downgrade to Marathon and Halo Custom Edition. Of course most people back then were mostly consoles so not a lot really minded.
