Would love to hear your commentary for these bouts in a longer video format. That helps a lot with what I would want to keep in mind during my sparring sessions.

Love the videos. I am just saying that maybe add a little marker that shows where contact was made, make it easier for us newbies. Check out the blood effects on Weaponism's videos

I used to do this. It just takes so long. I would spend 5 hours on one of these videos just adding in the markers and the playbacks, and it would get the same amount of use if I didn't. Instead I decided to put out more videos. But maybe I'll go back and do it for some of the special hits

@@SellswordArtsHey i just commented something like this. But you famously said that it takes too long to edit. So my humble ask was for the person who got hit to just act it out for us just for a split second. That way no edits needed!

I like the highlight reel! As a non fencing watcher it would help me immensely if the person who got hit acted it out just for a split second. That way you don't need to edit hit markers in post and i can follow along just that little bit better.

High level?!?!? You aren’t fencing with sharp swords, and are wearing armor!!! Git gud! 😜 On a real note tho, your Longsword play is looking amazing!!!!

I do not know what your guys' names are, but I am addressing a dude with rune tattoos on both arms. Man, send me sketches or photos of your tattoos, they really come to me. I want to do something like this with my tattoo artist and show a handsome man like you for a reference.

High level may be a bit of a stretch but nice vid

Well, Clark is in the top 4% of Longsword competitors in the world, and I am in the top 9%. I'd love to get your take on what does qualify as "high level longsword"

@@SellswordArts finals in eastern are high level. Im not saying youre bad at all really. Im like you in top 200 and im intermediate like you. Im sorry, if I sound negative. I really like your content and you give very good advices in general, its would be really unfare not to say it. You are a very important part of this community, I mean it. I guess people click more on videos named high level … , if being humble doesnt make your channel grow its perfectly reasonnable for you to exagerate.

No one's going to click on a video that says mid-tier long sword combat. I don't actually think that's an accurate description of what we're doing here. This is high level. It is not the absolute peak of all long sword fencing, but to call it mid would be disingenuous. To say that anything that isn't Martin Fabian or Obritsky isn't high level is moving the goal posts to an absurd spot. There's always someone better than you out there. I'm not calling myself an expert or anything in this video, but this is definitely high level long sort of combat.

@@SellswordArts What you’re saying makes sense, it’s probably my imposter syndrome making me too demanding.

If you are where you say you are, should also consider yourself a high level fencer 😁
