So Skip You Wanna Talk about Jordan is The GOAT bc Jordan He has more Rings than LeBron. Jordan, and LeBron Are Both Great Players Who Ever Played The Game Of Basketball. But If You Wanna Determine Who is The GOAT Player of Basketball By Rings. Then Bill Russell Has 11 Rings, Robert Horry has 7 Rings that's One Up on Michael Jordan.

The part that trips me out most is people bash LeBron for making it to the Finals and losing.. But don’t look over the years Jordan couldn’t get there.. The scrutiny LeBron has faced his entire career until this day and hour of somebody hitting send on a Tweet 📲 is unparalleled.. There’s no comparison.

Coz historically the way to the Finals for Lebron has always been comparatively easy , below 500 teams and all. Jordan lost 1st rounds to a legendary Celtics team, its like if Lebron met the Spurs team in the first round.If you gonna claim for the throne of being the goat, your case should be compelling.Again if it comes down to being the greatest, all that matters is how many you've won being the main guy once you get there, just being there won't cut it.

TBF if Jordan could carry his team to a higher seed, he wouldn't have to play against the all time great Celtics. And lets not talk about teammates, Lebron had a terrible team when he arrived in Cleveland and still managed to carry them to a conference finals
@MrPangahas
@MrPangahas 2 жыл бұрын
@@lukabrezo See thats the point the teams at that Eastern conference was stacked it wasn't just the Celtics they had to contend with for a higher seed.The East during Lebrons early years was comparatively weaker, with just a couple teams having 50 wins or more every year, so its much easier to get a higher seeding.Doesnt matter if he had terrible teammates when majority of the East teams have worse lineup.

@@MrPangahas the pistons, Celtics in the 2000s were weak? He faced the pacers on the heat which when to 7 games as well as the Celtics again in the early 2010s than in 2015 he loses Kyrie and love and battles both top seeds in both conferences and swept the number 1 seed in Atlanta. Than after losing Kyrie in 2018 he has the greatest playoffs run that was anything but easy as he faced the raptors who were the 1st seed and he swept them. Than again goes against the Celtics that goes 7 games all while having little to no help. Y’all say it was easy and a cakewalk because he’s done it consistently the lengths you bron haters go to discredit this man is pathetic

@@MrPangahas you could say the same about the finals. Jordan was ALWAYS the favourite to win the finals therefore weak finals competition meaning easy cakewalk win. LeBron has been favourite only 3 times in all of his finals lol harder finals competition.

Skip says "his hand was forced" in reaction to Shannon coming on the show in 2016 and proclaiming LBJ is the GOAT. Yeah right... Skip's BS goes WAAYYYYY further back. One of the lowest moments is LBJ winning his 1st title with Miami while upping his production significantly from the previous year when Dirk and the Mavs beat them, and having been criticized by Skip and even others for a good year for coming up short. Averaged 29-10-7 in the series. And a triple double in the deciding game. The next morning you then had First Take with Stephen A and Skip talk about that game and LBJ's first title. Skip goes on for 6 minutes with backhanded compliments and again highlighting cherry picked shortcomings. Pathetic. Whether it's trolling for max reactions or a genuine take - doesn't matter. There are moments when you should just give the flowers if you're a stand up guy, instead of undermining someone when they don't deserve it / when the facts don't warrant it.

I hated the late great Kobe (RIP) until I realized he wouldn’t get six. I hated Lebron for most of his career. I finally realized that the goal post is always moved when it comes to his greatness. There was a much higher GOAT bar set long before Micheal Jordan ever picked up a basketball. It’s just been erased by the modern NBA media like it never existed, because the man and his achievements are “controversial” to a certain subset of fans and media outlets. The first and ultimate GOAT was and still is: *Mr Bill Russell* with his 11 championships in 13 seasons. As the best player on his team every single season, the best defender against Wilt Chamberlain by a long shot, and *also* the full time head coach on 2 of those championship teams for a total of 13 championship rings! His 2-way performance was always elevated in the playoffs; there was literally no one else they could name the Finals MVP trophy after. At the same time he was playing, Mr. Bill Russell was also an *integral* part of the US Civil Rights movement/fight. And, along with his religious credentials Mr.Bill Russell personally set up THE critical first face-to-face meeting between the sitting US President and MLK’s group. The group that was demonized as “violent” because it was at the time being tear gassed and attacked by police dogs during 100% peaceful protests. PLUS. Mr.Bill Russell’s personal intervention was also integral in the hours and days immediately after the assassination of MLK, in leading the negotiations between the opposing Right Wingers in Congress that vowed to never allow even a reading, and the Civil Rights supporters with the US President. [A full 70% of European-Americans openly opposed even the idea of the Civil Rights Act leading up to its passing and the 5yrs of opposing legal challenges after its passing into law by the Legislative & Presidential branches of federal power] Mr.Russell was personally in the negotiations make sure it got not just to a vote, but also had the necessary super-majority of 60 senate votes on the right side of history to pass immediately. Mr.Bill Russell’s tireless hard work on both sides of the aisle. One that had him, and his young family, targeted multiple times by right-wing US religious extremists during his career and afterwards, in Boston and the US SouthEast. That lead to the end of the 10days of national protests with the passing of the Civil Rights Act! There was a very high bar before MJ. It was just erased so MJ’s much lower purely “shut up and dribble” commercialization could be easily sold to the new generation watching the NBA in the 1980-90s.

🤔 What a lot of people don't understand is that the LeBron hate is not only a propaganda perpetrated by Jordan minions / fans. It's also generated by the "powers-that-be" beyond a basketball game Its because LeBron James is the biggest social justice advocate in sport since Muhammad Ali. And the establishment would rather have ten Michael "shut up and dribble" Jordans off the court than another LeBron James who patterns himself after the Great Muhammad Ali. Trust me when I tell you the "powers-that-be" despise LeBron James and its WAY MORE sinister than most realize! TRUST! 💯

@Mercurial. I'm not sure what percentages yourenlooking at, but the 73-9 Warriors had a nice win share. Any particular teams one season record is not an indicator of difficulty either. If the league is balanced competitively, records won't show dominant teams. A great example of this is the current Western conference. So don't sit here and act like Jordan's Finals' opponents can be compared to the dynasty Warriors or Spurs, who represent 7 of LeBron's 10 Final's appearances. Name one. I'll wait.

Curry has had literally one mediocre playoff performance in his entire career in 2016 and it’s the only thing skip ever wants to talk about. Never mind his unbelievable play in just about every other series he’s ever been in. MJ lost a lot of playoff games in his career just like every other all time great.
@Advent616
@Advent616 2 жыл бұрын
True. But Jordan was always considered still the best player even in bed shooting situations. Look at his shooting percentage Game 6 of the 1998 NBA finals. But is negative by the fact that he literally made to cut free throws, got a quick score, literally stole the ball from Karl malone, and hit the game winning shot. You could Nick pick the fact that he had a bad fourth quarter but the man still came through for his team. And unlike LeBron and Steph he did it with outload management. He never went and joined a Dwyane Wade or Chris Bosh or ask a Kevin Durant to come and join his team. Jordan also has a more consistent Peak and a traditional one at that much like many of the all-time greats. You have a point where you have to learn how to win first which Jordan did in the first 5 years when he got eliminated the first round and struggled against the bad boy pistons. Then he started winning championships. And then he had a decline when he was past his prime when he was with the Wizards again like most athletes eventually hit. But outside of going to eight consecutive finals where is Lebron's? Where he actually formed a dynasty? The fact of the matter is that he hasn't whereas Jordan did. IF Jordan had less championships and had made it to less Finals than Lebron then I would say LeBron's eight straight finals appearances would hold more weight. But that's not fact isn't it? It's a hypothetical in which case I will have to concede to fairness. Just like Brady having seven championships compared to Montana's 5 makes him the G.O.A.T. You have to EARN that right. No one should be coddled into accepting it. Lebron may be the heavily scrutinized but he's also the most coddled.
