Homegirl Sister is totally correct. I'm a mechanic and have been for almost 20yrs now. Marine grease, sure...but...dont go being creative. Marco Pierre White "We invent nothing...we just refine." Don't go inventing yourself into a broken collar bone or new teeth cuz well "Woops!"

Curious is ptfe as a plastic fine? I am using ptfe as washers on some bolts near carbon

White lightning grease for everything. Don't use crappy ones like muc off with crap in them. Unless it's grip paste.

Most common grease is not harmful to carbon fiber. Her statements are incorrect.

Just grab a tube of mobil and get on with it. This just feels like a way to sway people into using the overpriced bike greases which are just repackaged For example Motorex fett 2000 is 20quid for an 850 gram tub But when sold as bike specific in smaller containers it is now 12 quid for 100 grams Ubsurd

I dont need to look after me carbon fiber governess. Manufacturing tech will soon make it cheap as aluminum. 🙂 Even if I do mess me carbon up with grease I can just toss it in the bin. 🙂

Carbon frames are handmade. They'll always take a lot more time and more labor intensive than aluminum
