Blackpool is turning around thank goodness. Last time I was in Blackpool was in 2006 and it was so run down and didn’t feel safe at night. I’ll have to go back and visit the new developments

I'm in Blackpool right now visiting family. The Holiday Inn and immediate area looks superb. Hopefully the rest of the town will receive similar treatment because it's so sad to see it looking so run down.

What a lovely hotel, I really enjoyed this look round, that area is looking so good now, I remember how it used to look so pleased it’s all been regenerated. I was 5 when I first came to Blackpool I’m now 59 and I come a few times a year as I adore Blackpool, it’s my happy coastline, it’s so lovely to see these bigger hotels coming to the town, really looking forward to the groundwork’s and tramway being finished, loved the corner room looking down to the sea, it’s definitely one I’m going to book into Thanks Jane x

Although the holiday inn chain took the government's money on some of the hotels For the english channel boat people.this brand new one will get busy. It shouldn't , people should boycott these hotels. But they won't.🇬🇧

i can tell you what was there before sainsburys because i lived in blackpool before the regeneration started. it was the flying handbag bar and flamingos nightclub.

It looks very smart and nice. It's also going to be good for tourists who are visiting Blackpool to. I remember when Sainsbury's wasn't there and it was all flat ground. I remember there was a bowling place there and always used to pass it when it was being knocked down ready for Sainsbury's. I also remember the Apollo timber place over the road to. Shows how long😢I've been going to Blackpool, crikey 😅. It's good to see brand new buildings and Devolpments. 🙂

Thanks for the fabulous video looks very nice very modern as you would expect for a new hotel by holiday inn, what i did notice in the bathroom from the gym, a black toilet seat which looked awful, didnt match the decor, my opinion of course. I think it will do very well for business conferences, as it looks like it will give good customer service 😊

Good review from inside the hotel BUT in the reviews I've seen of not just this new hotel I rarely see or hear anything about Car Parking availability and indeed pricing if hotel parking is available! PLEASE bare this in mind when reviewing any new up and coming hotels in the future! Many of us travel by car to Blackpool and knowledge is power ! 🙂

@@visitfyldecoast I do agree I stayed in a really nice holiday apartment like 5 mins walk from north pier called sunny dees such an lovely place to stay just a shame about most of the hotels are ran down, not complaining I’ve already got my stay booked for this summer :) can’t wait
