I stayed a night at the new Holiday Inn hotel in Blackpool's Talbot Gateway. The hotel is part of the North Station tram stop, linking the trams with the railway station.

So many brilliant bits of this video, nearly turning into a Talbot beer monster, loved the silent movie dinner and the time lapse of lights out was wonderful too. Many hotels in Blackpool now are setting a great example to others, considering price the quality here seems so far superior to Premier Inn and all their cost cutting great video hoping for more, love to see the Midland Morecambe perhaps ?

Great video Stephen - I stayed at the new Premier Inn on Talbot Road when it first opened and that was very good and would like to stay at this hotel also after watching your video - you did a great job - the only thing that I didn't like was the service charge on your bill in the restaurant, this is getting too common and needs to be kicked into touch, the food & drink costs enough without this additional charge in my opinion - what do you think ?

I loved the video as a one off. It was good showing a new hotel in the town. I used to follow two other bloggers who changed their content, and all they ended up doing was just visiting hotels. Eventually I got bored and unfollowed them. I know you wouldn’t do that but if a new hotel opens it’s fine to give it a try out.

Looks like a recommend for a coffee or meal. Didn't know a safe was normal in a standard room also I wonder how many goodie bags they'll hand out. This looks very good. Probably the best in Blackpool, perhaps the Boulevarde at the Pleasure Beach is similar. Great video.

£100 a night is why I discovered Benidorm 4☆ hotel Sol Pelicanos (Yes that one) in March for a week £450 including flights breakfast & Dinner. Thats why I stopped travelling for days out around Yorks/Lancs this summer. It just became too much effort, too expensive on trains- and once I realised how far I could go for guaranteed sunshine on less money, the UK seasides lost out. I still love your videos they're so interesting but - thats the reality xx Great Video I hope Holiday Inn appreciate it.

Yes please, more hotel/B&B reviews! Blackpool is (in)famous for it's flea pit B&Bs, so showing us there are some places that are safe from dysentery and plague is really useful!
