God ... Beluga caviar is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I was very lucky throughout my childhood and got to vacation in Russia many summers and my parents would always buy as many tins of it as they could and bring it back home with us to Texas. When I was in third grade my mother packed me a little Tupperware full of caviar, another with the chopped egg whites, yolks, capers, red onion and sour cream and a few slices of toasted French bread and i brought that to school for my lunch. None of the other students in my grade had any idea what it was and when I told them a few of my fellow classmates asked if they could have some and put a few in a cup of water to see if they would hatch!! If they don't control the population, it will be way too much to handle because farmed animals are healthier than in the wild. Too much then a huge population will die because there is not enough food to feed them all. Which is worse a few Sturgeon die or a huge population dies. Plus farms like these are saving the population because wild ones are more prone to die.

Honestly love Caviar... don't like salt in it though; maybe just a little to bring out the natural flavor of the eggs but if it starts tasting salty that's too much. When we go fishing for salmon we always bring home a shit ton of salmon roe (eggs) and even though it's recommended to add salt to them to help them preserve longer I just eat it all in the first week so I don't have to xD

Doesn't taste anything like fish meat at all. Its kind of buttery taste with light fish aroma. Sometimes extremely salty. U do not eat it just like that. Its added to foods like ingredient just like anchovy

@@devoila1 it's not really an ingredient, more like a prominent garnish. If a dish is served with caviar, it will be served with a good few spoonfuls clumped together, not mixed into anything else.
