I grew cilantro the last two years and freeze dried it. It is like freshly pulled a year later! You will not be disappointed!! Rosemary, parsley, bee balm, peppermint, lemon thyme, every herb so far comes out like it was pulled fresh.

Horseradish will grow big like tobacco leaves. My grandpa always had a designated bed for it, away from everything else so he could mow around it and keep it in check. Very lush, big leaves, probably 4 feet tall, at least. And it will grow in a clustered area. He loved loved loved his horseradish, it was something he always took such pride in, from growing it to processing it and gifting it away.

I had a disaster out year of gardening last year…..grazon in my dirt…..so I’m starting everything inside and so far everything is coming up fast and furious! I’m so excited! I kind of over seeded here and there, but it happens! 😂😂😂 I can always share with neighbors/family! Just got a few more seeds to start today but my shelf is already full! I need warmth outside….at least more than we have now! Central VA was nice and warm and then someone turned on the cold! I hope your family is well! I miss seeing your mom and grandma! Please give them my love! ❤❤❤

Hello there! Have you made any kind of videos related to showing your routine on how you tackle your daily task and such? My husband and I are looking to start a homestead in the near future and it all seems kind of intimidating as far as what to take care of first and to harvest and plant and pick first.. Animal care and bee care.. I'm sure it will all come to us as we go!

I have tried to go to your Amazon storefront, but for some reason, it pulls up The Honeystead Apothecary when i start typing, but when I click on it, I don't see anything indicating your products, lists, store, etc. Thank you for all y'all do!!!

You have a lot of work this spring. You are fortunate and blessed to have so much property. I bought lots of seed and started some plants out back and in pots couple years ago. I wanted to grow everything medicinal. I found out my soil doesnt want to grow much here in canada. I had pots all over , too many. That was a learning experience. I now know what i can grow, and what do i need, want to keep around.

I love seeing all your little baby plants! This time of year is so fun! I'm expanding my gardens again this year. There is so much I want to grow, and I have been woefully lacking in fruit! We have an apple tree and a pear tree, but we don’t get those until fall. I started a small strawberry patch last year, and this year I'm planning for blackberries, cantaloupe, and a few dwarf fruit trees. I do have a passion flower coming from Baker Creek. And I have 3 fig cuttings that I'm trying to coax into sprouting. It's going to be a fun and busy year!

I’ve recently seen that horseradish greens are edible: cooked or raw - tastes similar to arugula - can add to coleslaw etc for a nice peppery taste. It is an anti- inflammatory & immune support. What is your knowledge on this?

Hey girl, I could use your help. Early February, here in Missouri, it was extreme cold temps ans had snowed. I had a flat tire on my truck tire. I called AAA to change it and they did, but they showed up between 11pm and midnight and I had to shovel the snow so he could access the tire. Feb 11th at work, I recognized I had a sinus infection and it was full blown. I called doctor's office and left a message asking for a prescription to be called in. I waited and waited but nothing. So, I saw a nurse practicioner at urgent care and she agreed I had a sinus infection and said I also had bronchitus. She ordered the z pak, then later told me to take Musinex with the guif?(don't remember how it's spelled). I took the whole box but not every 4 hours as I work in food service. Anyway the sinus infection had gone away and the bronchitis seemed at least lessened so I thought I was getting better but two or three days ago it seemed like it came back with a vengence. I'm seeing her again today at 1 pm. Do you have suggestions for a tea or something natural that I could be able to easily access, pretty please?

I live up North l like you, lavendar and chamomile do fine in pots. Comfrey needs room, it will get big. So if you can get a big pot for it , it should do fine. Be sure to winterize them, especially the lavendar.
