OMG, this reminded me that "we've only just begun" was the song I chose for my wedding in 1973. 😱 I did get married as a teenager, but yes, 49 years ago. Loved their stuff. Am knitting Tif Nielan's Sun and Soul Wrap as I watch you. Yes, PLEASE do a thing at Rhinebeck where you get people to show their sweater! I went for the first and only time in 2019 and it was one of the best trips of my life. Don't know when/if I will ever get there again, as I live in the Chicago area and it's a hike. However, my baby boy (who turns 27 at the end of the month) is moving to NYC September 1st, so maybe next year I can combine a visit to see him and Rhinebeck, too! 😜 I love your episodes. Always. ❣️Have fun with the new house!

Congratulations to the winners! Such beautiful yarns and knitting. I have been knitting socks, socks and more socks. I also had a special request for a dozen handknit faces cloths, and until it cools down here, I put the Aran cardigan on hold. Have some hats planned, also.

Congratulations on your new house! Love your WIPs, they are beautiful! I am knitting baby sweaters, overalls for my first grand baby due at the end of the year. A few of the finished items had stripes, so I entered it in your KAL! Thanks for the KAL and the lovely prizes. Have a wonderful rest of summer! ❤️👍

Congrats on the house! Nice episode. Loved all your wips and cannot wait to see them when finished. It is very hot and humid where I live so working on a boring sock at the moment. Getting lots of things lined up for the cooler weather.

I’m making Alpenglow for Rhinebeck & starting it today. It’s fun to meet on the hill & see all the different color combos. I think I’ll make the Look at my Holes sweater for my sister. You have inspired me! Love to hear what you are watching. Did you go see Where the Crawdads Sing? Loved it!

I'm stuck in TX until our son graduates HS... 5 more years of hard time until we can (hopefully) leave... I'm eyeing the Rochester, NY area but I'd die to live in VA!! It's so beautiful there... we've vacationed in Massanutten and we have family all up and down the east coast... don't even ask how we got stuck here after living in the Chicago area most of my life... :/... #sadness... I'm just going to knit all.the.things. that I'll only have a moment to wear here each year and save them for when we are TX expats lol

I AM going to Rhinebeck. I just solidified my overnight stay yesterday. Currently I am knitting a lot of bags for some reason. The Bento Purse was super fun. I think I'm going to switch gears here- I was looking yesterday for a Rhinebeck sweater idea and I really like LETHO by Natasja Hornby. Oh btw we are watching and LOVING Somebody Feed Phil too. You nailed it when you said his positive energy is totally infectious. He always makes us laugh!

I always enjoy your updates and really got the giggles today. “Yeah so I accidentally bought a house”. No Rhinebeck here, just Whinebeck. I’ll be finishing my Rose by Andrea Mowry and drinking mulled wine while watching everyone’s hauls.

Congrats on the house! I’m crocheting a granny strip blanket with scraps does that count or is it just knitting for the strip along? I’m knitting a tank top. I frogged a tank top, a baby dress and my pressed flowers shawl 😩 trying to decide what to do next. My granny strip is my current fav. Thanks for sharing!

One of these days I'll get to Rhineback -definately on my bucket list. Love to see all of your wonderful knits and your red glasses are marvelous!!

Knitting loads of socks for the Summer Sock Camp. I received my two skeins of The Special hot sock❣️❣️I’m thinking of doing Joji’s Speckled Shawl with a beautiful creamy color to really make the Special pop. Crazy about that yarn. Any suggestions about what to make other than socks? I haven’t purchased any Siri from you yet, but want to do so.

Hi Gina, I just started getting my yarn together to make “Looking at my Holes” too. I’m thought I’d use some deep stash. Trying to get that weened down, I have too much. What I wound up is a chained organic cotton, merino, linen and silk base. I thought it was DK but its fingering. I didn’t think of camel or alpaca because of stretching but actually cotton will stretch too. Any thoughts? Also Im looking at destash Inc a lot of my yarns. What do you suggest as a good way that gets peoples attention and where people have luck doing that. Any suggestions from anyone are VERY welcomed. Thanks so much. I really love your knitting. Its inspirational how much you accomplish. Two birds? I have one and she keeps me beyond busy. What kinds do you have? Have you posted pics of them anywhere? Ive been watching both you and Leslie for a long time. I was born in Pittsburgh lived there until I was 12. Grew up in Squirrel Hill. I wonder where Leslie lives? I should ask her. Anyway nice to see your updates. Gorgeous prize’s for the KAL.

Love the “Look at my holes “ sweater, it’s gorgeous and makes perfect sense to wear over a dress. What kind of birds? Are they noisy? 🤣😂🤣Wanton 😂🤣😂 women are not supposed to enjoy sex still? Wow. Just knitting a pre patterned sock because it’s hot and I can’t stand much wool near me. Hot flashes are even worse in hot weather but I’m not complaining because I whined about the cold for months during winter. 🥰🌞. Have fun with the new house and I sure hope you get great tenets 🤞🤞🤞. Congratulations to all the winners of the stripe Kal. Take care, stay safe and well. 🙋🏼♀️
