Well, call me dumb, but I've tried my whole life (on and off) to learn how to whistle with the fingers and I never could do it. Watching this episode somehow taught it to me immediately. I can now do it with two different techniques, just shown in this one episode. And some people say that anime can't teach anything... (I've watched this episode just an hour ago and I am now pretty proficient with the whistling).

I just finished watching the episode, and I was trying to follow the whistle tutorial and after my 25 years of living I have figured out why I can’t whistle, I CAN’T CONTROL MY TONGUE!!!!! I put my tongue in the L-shape, can basically do that no problem, but literally the moment I put my fingers in trying to push on my tongue, MY TONGUE JUST SUDDENLY GOES EVERYWHERE AND BREAKS THE FORMATION!!!!! I’m never gonna be able to whistle in ANY form!!!!

​@OozoraKazuki Yeah I am thankful for that. I was only there because my family was stationed in there (Kadena Air Force Base). Spent half of my childhood there, but sadly, me being the idiot kid I was, did NOT pay attention to the culture, especially when learning Japanese was a class at the school I went to. If I had paid attention in Japanese class, and learned about the culture from my childhood friends, then I would've been fully educated in Okinawan and some of Japanese culture as well as fluent in the languages (on both dialects).

I don't live in Okinawa, but I know that practically everything in here is true. - Okinawan people are mostly tanned, due to the sea/subtropical environment, as you would find in other similar places like Indonesia, the Philippines and so on. - The way they speak, or dialect, is an old Ryukyuan dialect called Uchinaaguchi. - The「Higa」surname is indeed one of ten most used surnames in Okinawa, maybe even the No.1 of that list; it could be that this Anime overuses it slightly more than in reality, for comedic purposes. - The dances we see here is called Kachaashi (in the classroom scene), characterized by serene waving movements, while the ones played during the Eisaa Matsuri are mostly Taiko Eisaa (characterized by energetic movements such as spinning, twisting, squatting and jumping), and the Te-odori is more graceful in the movements. I believe the Anime will do a good job at allowing you to identify these dances, besides the one you have seen already more clearly. After all,「OkiTsura」seems to meant as the perfect Okinawa postcard. ^^

Simple. Teeru had seen and fell for Kyan first, but Kana fell in love with him since the day he retrieved her cap from the sea. The suspense now will be who Teeru will choose, after he knows Kana is in love with him... Kyan is a sweet girl, nobody can take that from her, but it would be foolish to ignore Kana's type; a calm, mellow but smiling face is a million times sweeter, one could easily die from severe 'love diabetes'.

But the truth is, Kana is doing a hell of a workout to get closer to him, while Kyan is more worried about getting along with everyone, not just Teeru. This is the very reason I believe the tables are likely to turn on Kana's favor, and it's a favor Teeru would come to appreciate, since Kana's type is a better match for Teeru's type. I mean, look at both three and see for yourself. After thinking, I believe you will agree.
