He was basically Steph Curry of his era but the pass-first version. He like Mark Price before him was one of the players that pioneered this era of efficiency and analytics. Every year he was a threat to make the coveted and rare 50-40-90 club. Sad he didn't win a ring but like Steph, he has back-to-back MVPs and will be forever enshrined in the HOF!

Kyrie is good playmaker and passer but he’s not all time level like nash.

I know he regrets passing more and not shooting the ball more but he made everyone better he turned the Suns around going from 29-53 in 2003-04 to 62-20 the next season those Phoenix Suns teams from 2005-2007 are one of funnest teams of all time

Only 1 of 2 players to make that list more than once. He had FOUR seasons with those 50-40-90 numbers. One of the greatest passers AND shooters of all time.

ugod234 jordan in 98 had the most efficient mid range season % of all time while also having the most mid range fg made in a single season (500+ FGs made), and that was off of contest fade-aways, catch and shoot, pull ups, etc. Steve Nash is without a doubt one of the best shooters of all time but Jordan’s game was more complete from inside the arc.

When you really think about it, Nash is statistically a top 2 playmaker of all time, the best free throw shooter , and has an argument for the second or third best shooter of all time. If only he played today where he’s shooting like 11 threes a game and running a modern day offense, he would probably be a top 3 pg of all time.

Nash is arguably the greatest combo of shooting and passing the game has ever seen. He is the only player to ever shoot 50% from 2, 40% from 3, and 90% from the line more than twice and he did it 4 times!!! His passing skills were sublime and made that prolific Suns offense great. 💪🔥

He should have been in this era with more fluid offenses and a boatload of 3-D guys and centers/big men that can shoot. Imagine him with Embiid. Harden who is a worse shooter and passer has 10 assists this year with Embiid. He made a roll-man average of almost 30 points imagine what he could do with today's incredible All star centers and PFs. He would be appreciated way more than iso-scoring shot chuckers. The Denver Nuggets took significantly more 3s with almost the same true shooting% as Nash's Suns did the years they went to the Finals.

The storyline heading into this season always blows my mind. Mark Cuban doesn't pay Nash and lets him go in free agency. Nash signs to the Suns, wins MVP, brings them to the 1 Seed after having less than 30 wins the year prior and beats the Mavs in the 2nd round of playoffs hahaha. If Joe Johnson didn't get that Orbital bone injury, I believe they could've made it over the WCF hump smh.

Now looking back it hurts my soul we weren’t able to capitalize on this team. We definitely could have won 1 maybe even 2 if we had made just a few adjustments. I don’t know, Luka seems very patient and waits for openings to be created Nash just goes 60 mph and finds the openings going that fast

I think Dirk limited Nash’s potential. Nash flourishes when he’s the focal point of the offense.
