2:09 Smallville TV series introduced the idea of a Metropolis in Kanas; there's an episode in which Clark & Lana climb to the top of a Smallville and view the Metropolis in the distance. However, in mainline comics, Metropolis is often depicted as being in New York or Delaware. So My Adventures With Superman may have pulled this idea from Smallville, having Metropolis be close to Smallville.
