16:16 Thank you! That's what a lot of people don't understand about Superman, Clark being a person first and a superhero second is much more compelling than him actually being an unfeeling alien god. That's what citizens may THINK he is, but understanding that Clark is a dork who just wants to get together with his crush and have a life, is infinitely more interesting than scenes of endless punching or Clark angsting about having to be Earth's protector.

Agreed! The shows and movies that handle superman the best, is always more about supermans humanity over him just being superman. I think my issues with BvS and man of steel is the movies are more about his Godly powers and him as the superman instead of him being a man first

I had the same question and I found out why yesterday. It was green lit in 2020 & was supposed to air on Cartoon Network. Due to the merger and Discovery buying Warner it was moved to Adult Swim. It already has a second season green lit as well.

While Superman doesn't need to eat to feed his metabolism as some versions/eras of Flash do (Superman getting more than enough energy from the sun), he can eat whatever he likes without worrying about health or cavities or what-have-you. In early episodes of Lois & Clark , when he first moves to Metropolis, his apartment is full of junk food just 'cuz he can.

Honestly i don't know how it got on adult swim. I think its just there so they can release just before they put it on the app.

I think it's because adult swim are in partnership with Warner Brothers. I remember there was a batman series from cartoon network transferred to adult swim.

i think is was originally gonna air on Cartoon Network but for some reason WB with all their weird changes to the DC propertie move it to Adult Swing, i agree that i can totally see this show in CN but what matters to me its that it continues, is super fun and im always up for a new take of the man of steel
