Spay-Draw??? We called it Spa-Draw in the 60's...known for Spadra State Mental Hospital!!! A very sad State-run Psychiatric Hospital by the 60's, where ppl often placed their children with severe physical and mental "disabilities." It really was more of a "torture house," as there was much neglect and probably a good representation of what happens when there is no "oversight," and very vulnerable, helpless ppl have no ability or advocacy.
