I had Boldest on my wishlist for a long time but it's MSRP really hurt it for me. It never felt like it was in an affordable range even on clearance.

New Frontiers is in my top 10 games and The Estates is in my top 50 games (haven't played enough). Absolutely fantastic games.

I've never understood how "to many expansions" is considered to be negative for reviewers. Are there so many completionists that cannot enjoy just a base game? I'd rather see reviewers substract from the score when they received a deluxe version of a game that they know most people will buy an inferior version of.

Honest question: Have you ever owned an FFG game where you bought all the expansions? I have, and it got wearisome and I stopped playing the game.

Not-so-fun fact, One time Sam Healey recommended Kahuna so I researched it, and it had exactly a 6.66/10 rating on BGG and it was board game rank #666. Those numbers are basically unrelated. Needless to say, I didn’t play it 😂

I'm with Tom about Terra Mystica, it's ugly and boring.
