Love the pink! I am mostly a neutrals girl with most of my clothes white, cream, grey, taupe, olive and black BUT in the summer I love my bright pinks and have bought several bright pink pieces this year and last. I have the same hair and skin coloring as you and think pink is very flattering on me. I also like lavenders, mauves, lighter pinks and purples mixed in with my whites, creams and greys.

Hi Erin. I have a Call to the Bar ceremony for my son this month. I bought a below the knee black and beige print dress, flutter sleeves. I like it but am worried the length may look matronly. Is that length still ok? Felt as it was sort of a business crowd, this might be appropriate. What do you think?

How do you feel in the length? I think the length of your dress is really dependent on how you feel and your height. If you feel it makes you look shorter than you want, you may want to consider hemming to knee length or just above the knee. Otherwise - leave it as is if you feel great! xo

Something like the blush floral one-shoulder dress that I featured would be perfect for the event! Great style to consider, but in September you can look for deeper colors if you want it to feel more like fall. Midi or maxi length for semi-formal - dress or jumpsuit! Talk to others who are going too, to see what length they're going to wear. You are SO sweet! I am on medication for the thyroid. Other than that, I try and move my body as much as possible (but without the pressure of forced workouts). I also try my best to eat foods that nurture my body. I don't always succeed and that's ok too! xo

As for the bra issue...for some of the dresses, I can not wear one. Often times the structure of the top adds enough support for me, but my girls do not require a ton of support. Great video as usual. While I agree with you in theory regarding wearing whatever color you want to the reception, I'd be hesitant to wear white to the reception because bridezillas are unpredictable. They can take everything as a slight. BTW, you look gorgeous as always!

Oh dear! Well that makes dressing a bit more complicated for you... This is definitely one of the times I mentioned, where you will want to ask what others are going to be wearing to the event - long or midi length depending on how close to black tie you expect it to be. For the heat, you'll want breathable fabrics - which is tough to find in a semi-formal dress, so something that allows air flow may be the best option. You could partner with an other youtuber or invite a curvy friend and show some nice summer options for us. It is so much easier to imagine how a dress is going to look on myself…..
