Teardown VEF RRR Radiotehnika S-30 1983 2-way Bookshelf Speakers look inside. Radiotehnika S30 made in Latvia from Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) time. I show How to remove spaker grill and How to disassembly & assembly this speaker, to see build quality and what kind of parts used for this loudspeaker. This can help you for repair radiotehnika or for building project. VEF RRR S30 also know 10АС-314 or 10АС-315. Low frequency speaker driver is 25ГДН and for high frequency use a tweeter 6ГДВ. VEF Radiotehnika RRR was founded in 1927 in Riga, Latvia and had radio/audio production as a main activity. The company was given its present name Radiotehnika RRR (Rīgas radiorūpnīca - Riga Radio Factory) in 1941 joining two private companies: a joint stock company “Foto-radio centrāle A. Leibovic” established on 28 December 1927 and a radio production company "A. Apsītis un F. Žukovskis” established in 1934. In The Soviet Union, officially the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Some of Radiotehnika RRR speakers: S30B, S-50B, S-90, S-90F, S90B, S-90D, Baltic 50, Giant FS-100, Gold FS-500.1, Rigonda S FS 5.3, SM-300, X-LINE FS 10.1, Rigonda S MM 1.3 or radiotehnika s-400.

Акустика чуть меня моложе😊.как видно не копаная(была).если отреставрировать(компоненты проверить,фазик заменить,подкрасить)еще послужат при бережном обращении.звучат они очень даже в своём классе и учитывая возраст.👍

It's all about context, specific environment, etc. Agreed, the bass might not be perceivable enough but if there is sudden onset of extra low frequencies then they tend to stand out in contrast to the rest of the sound stage for Radiotehnika speakers in general. Edit, there is no wonder why there is insufficient bass since the phase invertor port made out of foam is disintegrating. S30B where better in this regard.

Not sure if harsh sounding tweeter can be considered good, but these and Radiotehnika speakers in general seem to have less perceivable midbass which contrasts with sudden onset of more percievable low frequencies compared to some ubiquitous consumer grade products.

@@pahaahv Cant you atleast notice the bass-drivers construction? Instead of using cheap sheet metal they used proper aluminum construction-which is rigid and firm so no amount of power can warp it and introduce distortion ...See its not enough to make the bass out of flimsy metal -thats why all the more quality bass speakers are made with casted aluminium.Also the boh (although thin ) is made of strong wood which cant bend under stress and those condensators are also not bipolar or electrolytic they are best you can use ..

@@cocosloan3748 Agreed, for their price there is "nothing" better, since we have either overpriced speaker shaped objects or expensive luxury ones now on the market in general. S30B should be better due to bigger phase invertor port which reduces air turbulence. It has been said that they sound boxy by some people for some reason, personally they always seemed to have fairly soft sounding "neutral" deep bass compared to modern ubiquitous consumer grade ones.

Динамик то на видео ГД 10 не ГД 25. Будет разница в звучании в сравнении с новыми колонками. Фазоинвертор убитый не плотно сидит, считай что его нет. Какое может быть тут звучание? Это я к предыдущему тесту этих колонок.

As I saw yes but maybe not all. I found that 2 models were sold and tested. SM 300 and one from the X line. Check the audiocentrum.hu site. To this model in the video. I had them in my teen age. First liked them, but they did not pass the test in comparison later.

Hi!I had 2 pairs of these speakers, loved them in smaller systems. The tweeters not the best-except if you use them with radiotehnika amplifier. And not russian loudspeakers, these speakers made in Riga, Latvia. Best regards

​@@zaimkarii1756Hi! I had both s30 and s90. In the s30 I think the bass and mids are great but the treble is too flat, sometimes liveless. The s90s were my favourite ls in the end of 1990s. Then I explored several loudspeakers and re-think the hifi sound. The s90 had the best bass response what I ever heard, but the overall sound not the best. Maybe with a better midrange and a better tweeter it could be more pleasant. I changed the tweeters to TVM soft silk dome tweeters-naturally changed the crossover parts to fit for them. The original tweeters were 25 ohms while the Tvm s were 8 ohms nominal.
